Three of my children have now gone through this school starting in the Fall of 2014 until the present. They have all commented that it's so much better being in a school where the students are actually happy to be there. They have received very individualized instruction from qualified and extremely dedicated teachers. I've seen the difference in their learning experience from being shut down and trying to tune out their surroundings at the large schools to feeling comfortable and able to simply focus on learning at East Burke High School. Each of my children had unique strengths and challenges that were able to be accommodated and supported within this small all school. They arrived strong academically and continued to grow in their abilities as they pursued their personal interests through their education at East Burke High School.

I recently was a student here at East Burke School, and my experience was terrible. The students were awful, and treated me terribly. The teachers are hardly ever present, leaving students to do their own thing, which includes harassing their peers and taking drugs. I did not feel safe here, and after telling my parents about my experience, they decided to pull me out. This does not seem like the nice private school that everyone talks about at all. (Ps I'm not really a student here anymore even though I'm listed as "student"
