Children CONSTANTLY get bullied in this school and nothing is done about it. Faculty favor their kids and their friends instead of doing their jobs to protect ALL the students. The educational content is subpar and they insist on using an online program called Exact Path that has a ridiculous amount of grammatical errors and seems to be quite subjective, although it is meant to teach ELA. There was a student who was potentially suicidal and when I left a message to speak to the school psychologist to discuss it, she couldn’t be bothered to return my call. They refuse to do anything about what should be one way traffic around the school, which is honestly more of a city issue, but the school/district are aware and does nothing to help. The principal is great, as are many teachers, but there are a lot of issues in this school that go unaddressed.

If you think your child has an issue and seek help from the administration, getting a call the next day about a school problem can feel like they're questioning your parenting. I hope they'll consider changing the principal and assistant principal. When my older kids went to this school years ago, things were simpler and more organized.

Worst school I've ever tried, lack of communication, teachers and staff are not supportive , low academic performance. Really bad school year experience

Please do not send your child to this school. The school is racist and disrespectful. They discriminate people of color and bully parents that stand up for their kids.

Having spent most of my life in Burbank, I wasn't very happy with the addition of a junior high where my child had to be bussed instead of continuing at the grammar school, where she could walk, until moving on to Reavis. The school has not lived up to it's academic expectations. I am continuously receiving letters about how they are not up to State Standards and I have the right to take my child elsewhere! How about back to the school she came from? Change is not always good people.

I am currently in the 8th grade and going to this school. Let me just say all of my teachers are wonderful, and know tons. Liberty has a ton of sports, clubs, and organizations your child can enter to prepare for high school. There is always something going on at that school. Events, charities, etc. Just get involved! All the teachers and staff are literally my second family. I was reading the other reviews and some people were saying there are lots of fights. I am not going to lie, there was a fight not too long ago involving a 7th and 8th grader fighting in the hallway strangling each other. It was scary and just not like the school at all. I've never witnessed something like that before. However, there is a police officer on school grounds always supervising the school. He has taken care of it and there were consequences (I heard they got suspended) Anyways, yes this school has its ups and downs, I mean what school doesn't? If you are looking for a perfect school you're not going to find it here. These school has its flaws, but still I'm proud to say I am a Patriot, and will be sad when I graduate.

As a community member, I see many great things going on at the school, They recently held a Multi-cultural event, a 3k walk for the community. They hold many great events there. My neighbors tell me their children are getting a wonderful education, they offer many academic programs to assist anyone who is struggling with homework and help for the gifted kids too.

i went to this school. Uhm.. i liked meeting new people but other than that it was terrible. i'm being honest. the principal we had this year took EVERYTHING from us this year. The school needs to the the kids straight and stop punishing them because they can't control them. Fights don't happen often. This year we had like three tomes. if your coming here and your worried about getting in a fight just don't get on people nerves. Some of the teaching is bad here. But you'll have a lot of memories. And you should take the advantages. And get involved.

This is a terrible school. Their are physical and verbal fights almost everyday. Most the teachers are horrible, and don't teach as much as they are supposed to. I will be transferring my child into a different school FOR SURE. This honestly a horrible school. I do not recommend letting your child go to this school, unless you don't want them to get a good education, and not even go to college.
