Buffalo High School has been the best decision we ever made. When our kids were little we lived in the East Metro, and knew we wanted to raise our kids in the West metro. We researched schools, and asked around. We wanted a school that cared about our kids, and pushed them at the same time. A school we a wide variety of choice, and yet a school that got to know my kids. We found it all at BHS. I would encourage anyone looking to move to the west metro to tour BHS. It will be worth your time.

We are so grateful for the wonderful experience our children have had at Buffalo High School. The school has pushed them academically, helping them grow and reach their full potential. The teachers and staff truly care about the students and work hard to support their success.Beyond academics, BHS offers many opportunities for our kids to get involved in sports, clubs, and other activities. These experiences have helped them develop important life skills and interests. We appreciate how much the adults at BHS invest in the growth of their students, not just academically, but personally as well. Buffalo High School has been a great place for our children to learn, grow, and thrive.

As a parent of a BHS student, I am consistently impressed by the caliber of instruction at the school and how much teachers care. The Advisory program helps kids in a small group stay connected to the same adult/Advisor for four years and get to know each other well. There are many options for my child to take various CIS courses here as well. I hear from my student that they feel safe at school and that kids are nice, support each other, etc. and aren't afraid to "say hello" or work together with new people when a group assignment is given in class. The activities are varied and the teams are great, so all around, we feel there are so many great opportunities for our student at Buffalo High School.

As a parent of two BHS graduates, I can say they both had the best experience possible. They constantly felt supported by their counselor, administrator, teachers and coaches. My husband and I have so much respect for all the staff that paved the way for their futures.

Buffalo High School is an excellent school that cares about its students deeply. My oldest children graduated with 30+ college credits each, were able to attend the university of their choice, and receive significant academic aid because of the hard working staff at BHS. Also, my children have participated in both sports and other activities. The coaches and advisors are excellent, the participation in the Lake Conference has been a great experience, and there is enough variety in opportunities for them to thrive in and outside of the classroom. Lastly, the small town feel of Buffalo and the big school opportunities of BHS has been exactly the kind of school-community in which we want to raise our children.

We have had an amazing experience for our children over that last several years at BHS. Both of our daughters were able to bring over a year's worth of college tuition with them. My oldest daughter had 55 credits to transfer in to a Private college in MN. My second child was able to transfer 30 credits to a private college in Arizona. In addition to the tremendous variety of courses, they both loved the welcoming feeling at BHS. They definitely saw themselves in the school.

Assistant principals will go straight to punishment before communicating about any issues. People are constantly skipping because of how little the school cares about its students. There is no motivation to learn, only to get a good grade and get out.

First of all Buffalo High School is a school with good education but when it comes down to dealing with issues their lacking tremendously. Not only do they protect kids from being bullied, they actually promote it. Students who are gay or diverse are they students who aren't fully protected. Theirs been numerous times where a student who was diverse came to Buffalo High School and basically ran out. Why were these kids ran out you may ask? Well being taunted, bullied, made fun of because of the pigment of their skin, having racial slurs being shouted at them, feeling alone, last but not least being ignored. You can't go to the principal or the assistant principals for a issue that concerns bullying. They try avoid the situation and the student that they don't see all the "work" their doing to try to prevent issues like this. To be honest with you I think Buffalo High School is a school where if your different, unique, poor, intelligent, open minded, will slowly kill your confidence, self esteem, and hide who you really are. DO NOT GO TO BUFFALO HIGH SCHOOL, NOT EVEN ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This school is awesome! I am a current senior and I absolutely love it here. The teachers are amazing; they are always there to help. The students are respectful and show great school pride. We offer many extra-curricular activities from the school newspaper and debate teams, to sports and foreign exchange programs. I've traveled to other schools for extra-curricular activities, and what I've seen can't even compare to what Buffalo High School offers. Not only do we have great activities, but the staff and students are truly wonderful. They all make it a great learning environment.
