My daughter attended this school for four years now. It’s very good and the teachers are amazing and so is the staff. The only thing I wish they would do differently is give more merits for academics and not just sports.

Our child's class size was 21 when the public school limit is 18. They had only floating aids. It wasn't enough. Our child's teacher could not manage the class. The children were poorly supervised. We heard the same complaints from other parents of children in the same classroom. Their room was also very cramped. They didn't have the space to do certain activities requisite of this grade level for the lack of space in the classroom. Overall the administration seemed disorganized and a bit unprofessional. Our experience was definitely affected by the teacher and class size, so you could have definitely have a different experience w/ a different teacher and class size.

We enrolled our boys at a local Chrisstian School because we thought we were getting a good deal price wise. We soon found out the school was not accredited and the teacher did not even had a degree. We enrolled at Hernando Christian Academy last year and had an excellent year. It is accredited and there is a difference! Even though our children do not play sports there were plenty of activities to be involved with. I love how parents can be involved in the program if they choose to be! The administration and teachers all went above and beyond in every area. I have a low and a high student, both their needs were met.

Our son had a very hard time with past schools he attended, Hernando Christian was not only able to improve his test scores but his attitude regarding learning has been remarkable. The teachers spend one-on- one extra time with the students, and I know I am leaving my son in a safe and carring enviroment. I highley recommend this academy.

All three of my children attend HCA and the curriculum there far exceeds the local public schools. The high level combination of academics, bible and athletics they offer are unavailable at the tuition they charge. Comparable schools in the Tampa area are five to ten thousand more per year. The administration are always looking for ways to improve the school and are extremely approachable. My wife and I are blessed to have our children at HCA.
