This school has come a long way! The principal and vice principal are making huge leaps in all areas and have moved up this school in ranking with test scores. I have not encountered a bad teacher and if anything the teachers we have had have been caring and attentive. The school holds quite a few family activities and tries to get parents involved. Ultimately it is the parents responsibility to get involved and stay informed of children’s progress and activities. The school provides apps for academic progress, school transportation and other things.

Absolutely nothing good about this school... accept the girl in the nurses office and the girl at the front desk. They have common sense and great communication. Otherwise this school is honestly a waste of time, space, money and resources. Our children are being failed terribly.

Aweful, do anything you can do to avoid this school! Move further down the road so they go to Brooksville Elem where the staff cares!! Eastside is low income families for the most part so it appears they get the worst of the worst teachers. Any teacher worth a grain of salt would not want to work there so it makes sense.

I would love to pull my son out of this school but there's not another school here to put him so we have no choice but to keep him there

I feel like this school is not meeting my child's needs. The front office is unorganized. I went to check my child out. They printed me a badge to sign showing my name and it was the wrong name! I gave them my drivers license when we first started so why did this happen? They are way behind on technology and unorganized. My child said her teacher was mean to her when she did not finish her homework. I am sitting down for atleast an hour in the evening trying to help her with math because she doesn't understand it. I contacted the teacher and she said "don't worry about it. We are moving on to another subject so she doesn't have to do that anymore." What? So you mean the one thing she doesn't understand, your not really teaching because you are moving in to measurements? That's crazy and so why did you teach it this way to begin with? Or was you teaching at all? Anyway we are from North Florida and did not have these problems until we got to this school. My child plays sick all of the time because she does not want to go. What does that tell you?

This school is not designed for new students they expect new students to know where every classroom is and where to go this is upsetting to a new young student they have no ne signs on doors or anything else to tell the young ones were they are they need to improve more on the rules there also making a child have detention after school because they don't finish work is not right every child does there work at there own pace and there forcing them to finish before leaving or they get detention this school needs another serious overhaul

This school hit a rough patch for a couple of years and it was really sad to see. Thankfully, with the new principal it's changed course for the better in a hurry and the school is so much better. The majority of teachers have always been great here. Very happy with how well the school is doing now.

I love this school! This is the 4th school I've had interaction with since I've started dealing with schools and I must say I am impressed. We came into this school year knowing the poor reputation EES had from previous years but after interviewing many teachers and staff and knowing the types of changes they put in to effect we decided to give them a chance. I am so glad we did. The new Teachers, Principals, and staff have kept their promise and turned EES around. Its a smaller school and people are friendly yet professional. They care about every student no matter demographic or class. EES is very proactive in staying ahead of problems with child development and stay busy with events that bring parents and kids into the school together to help families take more ownership of their educational opportunities. 2013-2014 was just the start, I'm excited to see how this school will grow in the years to come.

This is a great school I was a student but now I'm in 8th grade the students get rewarded when they are doing what they are aspose to but if not they will get in trouble and if they get written up then u will get a paper u have to sign but if you think it's for something stupid then u can go to the principle and get it sorted out I use to be a strait f student but now I'm a A B student in advanced classes so u should sent your kids here
