Nazareth Regional High School is an excellent school. The administration and staff truly care about thier students and parents. They want thier students to succeed and provide them with the tools they will need when they graduate. The school/homework that the students recieve is very rigorous and is designed to engage them, foster critical thinking and challenge them. I see this in the work my boys bring home and from conversations that I have with them regarding what they're learning. In my three years of being a parent at Nazareth, the administration and staff have always made my family and I feel at home. We were automatically made to feel like we were part of the Nazareth family, when my son started 3 years ago. Parent involvement is always welcomed and is encouraged. My experience at Nazareth has been a positive one so far, and recomend it if you're looking for a school with rigorous instruction and a family atmosphere. Come and visit, to see all the wonderful things Nazareth Regional High School has to offer!!!!

Administration from the last few years has created a very different place from the one people here seem to remember. I sent my daughter here because of the positive things I had heard from former graduates but it is not that place anymore. I wanted a small school with a homey environment but what I got was a place where the people in charge don't listen to parents' concerns and things looked very different that what we were promised during open house and visits. Only one of my child's teachers seemed to know what she was doing; the rest showed absolutely no modern teaching styles or techniques and my child complained of being bored. Nothing there that warrants your monthly check, which is all they seem to care about once they get you in the door. I saw very little difference between this school and the public school we toured in the area. I'm glad my child isn't there anymore.

Please note how old most of these reviews are. Don't waste your money. Used to be a viable alternative to the public schools in the neighborhood but current administration and staff are incompetent and there are much better small public schools in the area now. The majority of the teachers are unqualified - don't have teaching degrees, degrees in their field, or certification from the state or the city. Some don't even have degrees period. I have personally witnessed the principal screaming at students, staff and parents. Administration gets rid of students who struggle and those who remain get passing grades from teachers so that they can graduate and the school can boast about its graduation rates. Honor Roll students get to college and realize they are behind their peers who went to public school. Nice kids get bullied by the school's athletes, who get full scholarships because the administration feels sports teams boost enrollment. The area is dangerous, one student beaten up after school and another attacked with a knife after a school event. Several have been beaten up on the way home. If I knew then what I know now, I would have never put my kid through this experience.

I am a Naz Grad from 88', its has been,,,,is now and ALWAYS will be a shining STAR in Brooklyn! I meet my wife there, and I owe my life that was started to NAZ!! The Principal Ms. Quiles is a God send to the community and the school itself. You can't miss sending your child to Naz, you wont regret it. The Alumni is fully behind the moving forward of this school. Be a apart of the Brooklyn Love & Send your child to Nazareth.
