Asked to speak to the board have not heard back from the school. Will have to research how I can contact someone from the board or go back to the school. My son had two physical altercations since he has been attending this school. He has received nothing but great academic scores ... Nothing less then an 89 grade average. He has minor social abilities and could use a bit of help being that he was raised as an only child and taught to defend himself. I must admit maybe not all MY teachings were the best thought out when speaking to my son on being bullied or dealing with ppl in hostile situation however the principal has decided to suspend my child and then told me, his Mother, that the only way he could continue schooling is if he signs an agreement form stating he won't interact in any school activities or trips including GYM and that if he needs to release any energy he can do so by running up and down the stairs. I highly doubt this is an appropriate decision. AND Since THE PRINCIPAL told me it was a decision made by the school board I would like to speak with them. This review comes from his mother and shouldn't have any effect on my child.The safety net and the social engagement of children is not the best and they have habits of acting fully for the "favorited child" I agree to taking away all the fun things but to have my child not interact at all with students besides in class and then tell me he can run up and down the stairs if he needs to release energy is insane. He is not a horrible child in the slightest and does not deserve that type of treatment.Her engagement with me is nasty as well. Apparently she doesn't know how to greet anyone coming through the door, she interrupted you when your speaking as if your her child, and lastly her office is a mess. If she can't keep that organized how can I think she would have anything organized... Thats just paper work.

the only reason half of us stayed is because we were forced. thank goodness im out of that place!

MCA is a very good school which instills great morals in its students. The teachers are very good and teach effectively. The principal is a very good leader. The school offers a variety of after-school programs and encourages student participation in learning new skills. The fundraising efforts are good.
