What a huge turnaround! This school has made a lot of positive changes. There's a shift in the school culture that is inclusive and inviting! My child is continuously being pushed and Principal Belle makes sure our kids READ EVERYDAY! Readers are leaders!

I am in love with La Cima Charter School. La Cima Charter School has been one of the best schools I've ever enrolled my children in. I love how intimate the classroom setting are. I love how all staff members greet the parents rather they know you or not. Even down to the principle at La cima Charter School is beyond welcoming she makes you want to send your scholars to school everyday as you should do anyway while reassuring you your scholar is safe with her. La Cima Charter School had been one of the best welcoming schools thus far. My children has learn son much over such a short period of time. My children love to go to school and learn new things with their teachers and friends. I love how La Cima Charter School leaves all doors of communication open. La Cima Charter Schools make sure all their parents are in the known when it comes down to what's going on in their schools building past, present and future events. To see how much my children have grown academically melts my heart. After being home over a year due to the government shut down. La Cima Charter Schools reassured me that I made the right choice by investing in children's educations and choosing La Cima Charter School for them.La Cima Charter School also offers a great range of academics for their scholars as well. For any parents/parent, grandparents ect..... who is looking for an amazing hands-on charter school for their children please choose La Cima Charter Schools you will not be disappointed.

I can recommend La Cima because my son attended La Cima from K to 5th grade and learned a lot, not only book education but also many values. This is why tabiem enrolled my 5-year-old daughter to La Cima.

I love La Cima, I have personally seen progress my child made at the school even in the middle of the pandemic. I find the teachers and school leadership to be caring and friendly. The thing I appreciate the most is the high level of communication and access to my child teachers. I have heard some parents say the curriculum is rigorous but I like it that way, it challenges the kids and teaches them discipline. I have seen the quality of work at some other schools and it's not at the level of La Cima. This is a school I would truly recommend.

My child made significant progress at the school especially during the pandemic. The curriculum was rigorous, the teachers were friendly and the principal is very knowledgeable. Communication was very seamless as families get a automated call each week to remind us of things happening around the school. I would recommend this school without hesitation.

I just enrolled my second grader for this year and he is really flourishing. He has made more progress in a few months than he made in a year at the public school. He is very happy and excited to go to school everyday. That makes me feelgood as a mother. Great job La Cima! I wish I had him here two years ago.

The school has a vision, which is wonderful and unique, and there is a sense of community, mostly fostered by some of La Cima's teachers, who care for their scholars. However, it seems that the school worries more about its reputation more than the scholars themselves, and it is a shame because this is a determining factor for families potentially interested in the school. It's simply not enough to exist to have children attend a school, but work has to be put in to better foster trust, provide innovative programming, and build community inside and outside the school to really create change. The fact that the school talks about change is not enough, we want the school to "walk the talk", but we don't see enough of that.

They treat the kids like they're in the military. Making them stand against the wall and walk a certain way. They aren't allowed to talk at lunch. If you don't send your child in uniform they will put some random uniform they have in the office on them and keep their clothes in the office. They are effective in teaching which is what they're there for but being that the kids spend so much time there they need to do something about their bully problem. Peace meetings are not cutting it. Most of the teachers do not care what students say or do to other students unless it's something the school can get in trouble for, like a threat that if the child carried out, the school would be I'm trouble for not notifying anyone. Other then that students can hit and call each other names and there's no consequences other then these peace meetings that some kids probably laugh at.

As a school, La Cima exemplifies celebrating community and togetherness. These are things that are lacking in today's education standards. However, as a school, things need to improve. La Cima has a lot of potential, and will succeed if it takes the necessary steps to improve itself.

they need to control the students...5th graders are rude and obnoxious.....they need to have a better behavior system

La Cima Charter School is wonderful. They embody many of the values that I have always searched for in a school. There are however a few things that bother me........ I don't like the fact that the children sit on the floor a lot. Their uniforms consist of a burgundy shirt and khaki colored pants. So sitting on the floor is not great on the uniform pants. I also think it's unsanitary. However, education wise, they are great! I would not remove my children for the reason above but I do wish they would find an alternative. I also wish teachers would hang around longer. My children have been attending for 4 years. Although, there are many teachers who are still there, many have left. My kids often talk about their old teachers and how they liked them. It's kind of sad to know that you can't still see those teachers who helped form our views and were so great at what they did. But that is still not a reason that I would remove them. I just wish there was a way that the children could still communicate with the teachers that they so dearly miss.

This schools have a revolving door when it comes to its teachers. I have seen more teachers leave each year than any other school before. The curriculum is inconsistent and many times my students is not recieving the quality education they deserve. Get it together la Cima

This is a wonderful schools, with energetic teachers and administration. The children are just as energetic about learning. My son started with a low er than average reading level and by the end of the year his level was two grades above! This school is enthusiastic about learning and achievement and pass that along to the students. Communication is delivered daily to homes. The teachers are Amazing! I have witnessed how various situations are handled and I was very pleased! I would recommend this school to anyone who is serious about education and wants their child to excel! Go La Cima!
