From my experience, this school doesn't care about its students or student success. There are little to no clubs, extracurricular activities, AP classes, or anything to allow students to explore college & career opportunities. The vast majority of students don't graduate on time (if at all) yet alone are prepared for college if they wanted to go. I would recommend they close down the high school, & decide to make the entire building either an Elamentary school or a Middle school, as the entire building is a K-12 school.

Sometimes it feels that teachers are not interested in teaching at all. Children gain no knowledge in that school, but they do learn how to be activists…

Do not attend at this educational institution there are zero opportunities for students. Your child will not have enough resources for college and instead of approaching students they are discouraging them from fullfilling their future academic goals and careers. Teachers are so lazy and could care less. Everyone is here for a paycheck. Send your kid to Lafayette, Utrecht or FDR- they give more opportunities when it comes to sports, programs, etc. The school is so tiny, condensed, overpopulated and crowded. Like 40 kids in a classroom. They had no courtyard and not even a real gym room, the gym was the size of a regular classroom with the exception of a slightly taller ceiling. The cafeteria is in a dark dirty basement. Best decision I made was transferring to a nearby school. Don’t send your kid here-it’s a complete waste of time and joke

This was 4 years of time completely wasted - with a single exception of an interesting summer internship that was organized by the school. No actual classroom usefulness has been witnessed. Avoid this place. Work hard, get into a better school. Respect your time and find a facility that teaches instead of providing daycare services.

My son has been attending this school since September of 2013 and he loves this school. I have nothing adverse to say about this school. I don't meet with the teachers at all because my son is not a troubled child. If my son academic work begins to decline I get an alert of which I welcome dearly. So just focus on your child/children it is their future.

This school is a mess, no one knows there responsibilities , teachers does not stay there for a long time. Almost every other day my son has substitute teachers. Some teachers and even deans has absolutely no respect toward kids, some teachers allow themselves to scream on students in the classrooms at the same moment they want students to be quite and respectful. There are few very nice, professional, high class teachers (Mr. Bonchino, Mr. Posner, Ms.Kreisler, Ms.Borrero, Mr. Mannino). I hope there will be more teachers like them because the others are . The academic factors are very low. Principle has no idea what is going on in her school. She is unreachable (terribly busy) always on a meetings never has time for parents. I would never suggested this school to no one. Very disappointed!!!
