That’s such a great Greek private school for prek3, UPK4 and K-8 students. The teachers and staff are amazing, they all have a high level of professionalism and dedication for all that the do. We have been with A. Fantis almost for 2 years right now and there is only positive experience. The best thing is that teachers and students can learn a lot during the school time. As a bonus they have to learn Greek which amazing. We appreciate a lot all these people for all these years! Highly recommend to everyone!

My siblings and I graduated from A. Fantis. I can't think of a better school to send your children!

The most loving, nurturing environment. Incredibly dedicated teachers. Small class sizes. Great administration. Rigorous curriculum but adjusted for our kid's abilities. Our kids are thriving more than we could have ever hoped and the other families are true gems. Bonus is the incredible after school program that offers homework help and time to socialize with club offerings. A true hidden gem.

My granddaughter attended Pre-K3 and 4 at A. Fantis from 2019 thru 2021. The Pre-K teachers were kind and loving, especially during the first year which was a particularly tough time for our family. We thought we were part of the A. Fantis family. Then came universal Pre-K 4. Covid made things difficult, but the bottom line is that we were sorry to find that acceptance into Kindergarten is clearly based on whether or not you are Greek Orthodox. My granddaughter was not an academic star, but she was definitely in the mainstream and acknowledged by all her teachers as a loving and kind child. My daughter took catechism courses for three months in preparation for baptism in the church. None of that mattered in the end. Of course, A. Fantis has every right to place a priority on Greek Orthodox families. I do, however, feel obligated to let others know that there is no commitment that after two years in the school their child will be able to continue. It's my opinion that the school should be more transparent about their admission preference when they accept you into Pre-K 3, and I write this review to inform prospective families about that reality at A. Fantis.

Awesome. Thought I would keep her there for pk3 and upk, ended up staying there because I loved it.

Lower school k-4 is decent. My child did well in lower grades but was not challenged in the upper school. If you’re looking for a strong middle school, this unfortunately is not the right place.

Extremely happy with the care and education that my child has received so far. We have been at A. Fantis since Pre-k3 and are in the UPK program. It is a very warm and welcoming community of parents, teachers, and staff. All of the students are smiling in the hallways that are filled with their gorgeous artwork. It is truly a gem to find a school of this caliber that is affordable. The school has taken new initiatives to push the school forward and build a robust STEM program as well as stay on top of being technologically current. We couldn't be happier and are looking forward to all that the school continue to offer. (side note: we are not Greek and do not feel like we are treated any differently. The school is also diverse which was important to us as well.)

We transferred into Fantis in 4th grade from a desirable public school that we didn't care for. This school is a gem. Small class size, the kids are respectful, love of learning is upheld and a child feels like they have their place in the community...even kids thats would likely not feel this elsewhere (streo typically shy etc). It's true if your Greek, you may feel more at home...but I would say this is an excellent alternative if your child is struggling with a too big public school setting or feeling like they are getting lost in the shuffle. In the end, my son ended up at a specialized high school and his graduating class did very well for themselves. Nice community. As in all schools-be aware of the teachers, follow through and be vocal if something is amiss. You will get a response here . Good Luck!

My son in in UPK/PreK 4 this year and I am very pleased with the program! We stumbled upon AFantis incidentally while we were scrambling for a place to send our son expecting to get shut out of the public school lottery. A neighbor told us about this school and we got in. The tuition is so affordable, and you get a "real school" experience (including field trips, holiday concerts) unlike what you'd get at a Daycare extension program. It's a catholic school but baptism is not required to go to PreK. (beyond that the child has to be baptized) The group is split in half in the beginning of the year, and one classroom goes to church 1x/month-the other half does not. If you don't want your kid to go to church specify this with the principal. The principal is unprofessional and doesn't treat her staff with a lot of respect. But she's doing something right--those kids (up to 8th gr) are the most polite preteens/teens ive seen. they are enthusiastic and respectful! its quite nice! There are 2-3 (1 teacher and 1-2 paras) in each classroom which is amazing. And these ladies are all outstanding. I'll miss them next year.
