I go to this school and it is TRASHHHHHHHH first of all some of the teachers make us feel super uncomfortable and stare at us creepily for no reason. the lunches are meh they don't really give us enought and we sometimes get stomach aches when consuming these foods. a lot of the kids here are really behind and uneducated. The school doesn't really do a good job at helping their students for example us eighth graders have not been progressing in out STEM class. A lot of kids here start drama or fights for no reason and the teacher take the wrong sides and most of the time don't do anything about it even thought they say they will. lastly there is A LOT of rasism in this school and even if we tell the teachers or even the principal they do nothing about it. Im luck to be graduating this year and wont be going to this school anymore but if your looking to send your kid to this school I do not recommend it. if you really want your kid to have a good education and actually make it for in life, please go to a different middle school. I would highly recommend the local elementary school here because it does an AMAZING job teaching their student and giving them a good education * A NOTE TO LIPMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL: if this keeps happening we will protest as long as we have to.

I think that this is a very mediocre school. The population is very small, and the building looks like some sort of pre-school or day, there is little to no clubs besides hiking, and two other boring seeming ones. And no sort of competitive sports, many of the teachers are biased towards specific students. Mostly the ones who behave, there is no transportation options for students due to the fact that many of the students live relatively close to the building. The people attending this school are usually quite friendly, it’s not a terrible school. Wouldn’t recommend though.

The education, diversity and opportunities given are fine…. i wouldn’t say the same for the students. Many of them are racist, homophobic, ableist, disrespectful, mean, and overall just horrible, please don’t send your child here if they have been bullied before because it will happen again here

This school kind of sucks...This school is so boring in my opinion!!! there is no competitive sports at all not like we could have them since the gym is MICROSCOPIC! For some reason we cant go to the library on Wednesdays during free period for some odd reason. They make us sit outside even during winter when it is freezing we only sit inside if it is poring. As for the teachers... It is pretty obvious that they choose favorites in the classroom the teachers have bad tempers and are very prone to yelling at students for the slightest things.

Lipman has grown into being a wonderful small school with dedicated staff and a high-quality school culture. This is so important in middle school when kids are trying to sort out who they are. Having a positive, supportive environment where meanness is not tolerated is so important. Before we started at Lipman, I was afraid my daughter wouldn't be challenged enough. But her teachers have done a very good job of meeting her at her learning edge, which is what they try to do with each and every student. She has felt safe and supported at Lipman, and has really enjoyed middle school. I am grateful we have Lipman in our community -- it is a wonderful place for growing curious and kind young adults.

We had an excellent experience at Lipman. The teachers are so experienced, and even the art and music teachers have credentials. At other schools, you see a lot of emergency credentials or art teachers who are not real "teachers."

Lipman is a small middle school with a tight community and fantastic staff and teachers. From an academic standpoint, my son was extremely well prepared for high school. He's pulling straight A's in his freshman year and was able to bypass freshman math completely. The school provided a very well rounded, supportive education, and helped him to excel in the subjects he was least comfortable in (Language arts and writing).

this school sucks. Children can only go to the restroom 9 times a year. The work is way behind my child is getting 3rd grade work. When she is in sixth grade. Don't go here it is awful.

This is a small school that is located on the top of an inaccessible steep hill in the middle of a really small town. Children from this town of brisbane and also children from Daly City go to Lipman, but it is mostly brisbane students. This school is very old fashioned, especially in the annual school play, which goes on a cycle from My Fair Lady to The Music Man and other boring stories that none of the students or parents can relate to. The school's love of homework over school breaks (in 6th grade i had to do 15 hours of math over the summer) is annoying to parents, while their policy of Physical Education class being scheduled almost every day for all students is annoying to girls who don't want to wear sports shoes every day. The students are friendly, and so are many of the teachers, but Im not so sure about this school.
