Panorama is a small, neighborhood school that provides an excellent, foundational education for it's students.

Overall, we love everything about Panorama --- that they have music, Spanish, art and an awesome library that promotes the love of reading. The small size of the school promotes a family/community feeling which is very welcoming. Panorama has made a strong, positive impact on our family. WE LOVE PANORAMA!

There is truly a sense of community at Panorama. When you talk to the teachers you get the sense that they know your child as individuals and care about them. This is a school that doesn't have as much as other schools but gives so much to the students. Our kids love being there. They have learned to love math, science and reading and this is all because the teachers and staff are so supportive and encouraging. This year they're thrilled to be on Khan Academy, in addition to Raz Kids and IXL, and seem to be on it every chance they get at home. It's a great place place for learning, growing and to be nurtured. We're happy to be a part of the Panorama family.

It is always great to have your child love school. She wants to go to school everyday. There are lots of after school activities which allow her to try out new things. The staff is wonderful. The parents and staff work together to give the kids a great elementary school experience.

Panorama is an amazing place to be. Never have I encountered a school where EVERY staff member is on the same page, the desire to make ALL children successful so evident. Just walk the halls and feel the welcoming spirit of this warm and inviting place. Kids feel safe and loved!

We Love Panorama! The principal really gives his all even though he is only paid for part time. The Teachers, Librarian, Secretary, Music teacher, and all the other staff, are great people and really do their part to make this school what it is. There is also high amount of parent involvement which is always great to see. I was happily surprised to see so many different programs(sports, music, theater, ixl, etc..) and services(before & after school) available and more being added all the time.

If I could give this school more than 5 stars, I would! This is our 3rd year at Panorama & we love it! Teachers, staff, students, parent/family community are all wonderful. We don't live in the Southern Hills area, but because we live in Brisbane, we are lucky enough to be able to attend Panorama since the school is part of the Brisbane School District. When my son started in kindergarten, I was worried he could barely read. But by Spring of his kindergarten year, he was reading. And now, he is reading a grade level higher than his actual grade level. I give all the credit to the teachers & librarian at Panorama. Because of those teachers & the librarian, my son not only reads well, but he LOVES to read.

We absolutely LOVE Panorama Elementary! Our oldest son just started Kindergarten, so this is our first of everything. We love the community, teachers, principal, secretary, librarian, and programs/services offered to the students. The first day of school, our son cried because it was all new. He was all smiles at the end of the day and everyday since then......oh wait, except when he cries because I pick him from school and he wants to stay!!! What parent doesn't want their child to feel safe, secure, and nurtured when at school? The students get that at Panorama, and more! Lastly, the principal and staff listen to the parents. We had an issue with morning care and so they put together a morning care program for parents who need to get to work earlier than the drop-off time.....two weeks prior to the school year! Seeing how the principal found a way to help us, we knew and felt confident that picking PAN to be our son's school was the right decision.

Panorama is an awesome school!! The classes are small and the teachers care so much about all the children. Panorama has a loving, caring community like environment that every school should have. The parents are an awesome network of help and we all look out for each other and help each other when we can.

Panorama is a very special place, made so by the great mix of people who all give a little extra and make it happen. We have been under served by the district, the board, the state, and yet we always find a way to get through. We are a community in the truest sense of the word. Every one on the staff and the teachers, with limited resources, gives 110% . I give the principal leadership 3/5 since we share him with the other elementary school. so its a good grade, considering it equates with 6/5 if he were full time. Great effort but we do suffer from not having a full time leader,

My daughter Nia has been at Panorama for three years and it is a wonderful environment for her early school experience. I can't say enough about the loving teachers who all have known her by name since her first day of kindergarten. Mr. Carvey, the new principal is dedicated and motivational. The parents who are involved are awesome, of course we would love more parent help, but what school wouldn't? It is a small, safe and "highly effective" place for my daughter to grow. Thanks Panorama family.

The "highly effective teaching" method is non traditional, but an emphasis on the state standards has pulled test scores way up. after school program is cheap and safe, and there are always extra programs like science and chess after school and a great junior giants field with great baseball teams and coaches. lots of field trips and a focus on life skills and becoming thoughtful citizens. Its been perfect for our family.
