My time here as a BCA student has been TERRIBLE. The food here is so disgusting and kids never eat because of how bad the food is. Teachers have favorites and never care to listen about problems happening in the school. Bullies get away with everything all the time but when someone speaks up, they are not heard. Teachers catch attitudes with the students and say slick stuff, but get mad when we are defending ourselves. I get we are not supposed to argue, but as teenagers we have STRONG emotions. I will not respect elders if my respect is not given. NEVER in my life have i been to school such as this one. They even hire unlicensed teacher such as a music teacher that they turned into a PRINCIPAL. Children speak of the problems that occur in our school, yet nothing changes at all, things that are not needing to be changed like bathrooms get changed. There is constant favoritism that comes from the sports field and the education field. Kids who have a higher learning level are often part of the favoritism and are pressured with high expectations from teachers. There is constant bullying and belittling in our school that will not be changed because administrators do not care for other students mental health. A girl in our school was walking around just for some mean girl to come to up to her and hand her deodorant to tell her she stinks. NONE of the teacher looked at this as a problem instead they walked over it as just another school day. The girl was sad and continued to get bullied but nothing changed. A lot of problems were being brought to our detention teacher such as writing on the wall and they decided to find the culprit. A group of students were ACCUSED of writing on the walls when having no idea of the situation. The detention teacher then tried to force the students to say who it was because she assumed they knew. Even the sport coaches are another set of bullies, while a set of coaches proceed to talk about another student and her weight. This school claims have no bully policy, yet every situation is just a little mishap. The teachers are disrespectful and pick on certain students which is absurd. Please parents if you haven’t already take your student out if this school, for they will not have a good learning ethic and will feel as if they are targeted. They’re are better christian schools but brice is a horrible school where you are forced to be something you aren’t.

My kid goes hear and Kindergarten teacher and first grade was great! Communication was great,but after that it went down hill. Some teachers are old and doing things not up to date. The students can't be creative and it makes them feel robotic. P.s. they celebrate Halloween.

This faith based school provides education by some state licensed educators and many unlicensed staff members. The school will assist in starting 504 and IEP plans but cannot implement them. Behavioral plans for positive student actions is in great need for improvement and implementation. Students are provided opportunities to have trusting teacher relationships, but are not provided competent counseling.

Hello, I am an alumni of this school from a little while back. I hadn't thought of giving a proper review until recently now that I've had time to think of a way to go about this. The last thing I would do is recommend this school to anyone. Not only did it destroy my confidence in myself, but the staff had been overall unhelpful and insensitive to me and my life struggles at the time. I was heavily bullied at this school (verbally, books/pens/calculators thrown at me, cornered in a bathroom and made fun of, etc.) and instead of actually trying to figure out a solution, I was punished for speaking up. I was given detention constantly for showing signs of ADHD and when experiencing a large shift in my home life I was told "You wouldn't be going through -said trauma- if you had only prayed harder". The teachers nor faculty cared for my wellbeing and my obvious signs of struggling and ignored my direct calls for help. I don't think I would have left a review if it weren't for the fact that I recognized some of the remaining staff from my time as a student there. Not to mention the fact that they have steadily increased the tuition costs for a lackluster education system. I do not think that this school has enriched my education in the slightest as my grades and general understanding soared after I had left this school to transfer to a public school in Pickerington. It is also worth noting that I experienced far less bullying in a public school than I did here. This school and its values had destroyed my sense of self and made me feel ashamed for a home life I, as a child, had no control over. The teachers and faculty show obvious favoritism and if you aren't part of the lucky few favorites then you are reprimanded and belittled at every corner for "not having more faith in God". Your child's worth to this school is based on how devout their whole family is to Christ, and they will target those from divorced homes like they did to me and another student from my class from the time I was there. Don't get me started on student's with potential learning disabilities as they are not given the proper tools needed for learning. I had gone to this school from K-7th grade. There is nothing wrong with Christian schools but I would never consider BCA and a safe and enriching school for my children.

This school is racists they show favoritesm between the students and the staff. They show discrimination between the students. Theyre building is under code for health violations. Their food is disgusting. All the teachers are old and they think that the students are supposed to act like robots in the classroom. My child has been going to the school since K and they tried to build a case on her in the 7th grade and kicked her out halfway through the school year they try to trace their steps and delete all the text messages out of my dojo that I have sent over to admin and they did not follow up with none of my requests my child has never had a phone call home from a teacher about her behavior anything that concerns the school my child has never had a outdoor suspension . Please do not send your child to this school. My daughter went on a field trip with the school to Heartland and another student had a covo with my child about her child behavior. I called the school that day and the principle stated they were having problems out of this parent before the field trip began. She never called me for a follow up on the situation.

BCA has been a wonderful choice for my middle school daughter! The staff is amazing and I love the tough academic requirements combined with the loving Christlike atmosphere. I would highly recommend it!

I'm a student hear and brice is horrible you guys may think that just because it's a christian school it's a good school the kids here re so rude and there are so many physical and fights and there is also so much bullying the teachers don't care at all and the curriculum is so low they barely teach you my causin had to leave and when she went to a different school she struggled brice does not get the kids ready for high school if you send your kid here you might as well send them to a public school cause it might be better than brice send your kids to a better school that have teachers that Can teach brice is horrible and all the teachers do is lie I've been bullied and all different types of thing happen here oh and I probably should mention that lots of the kids hear smoke there's are so many bad kids here don't send your kids here and if you have a kid hear or know someone take your kid out or tell the parent to take theirs kid out please brice is a BAD school

This is my childrens 2nd year at BCA and I think that they do a marvelous job at teaching our kids about Christ and academics. This is also our 2nd private christian school and the experience here has been just as great as our prior christian school but at a fraction less with the tuition. I thank and praise God for BCA!

This was the worst school ever. So glad I got my daughter out of this place. Hands down the worst in Columbus. GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!
