St. Mike’s offers the most rigorous education in the area, and they teach students to be polite and generous.

St Michael School is a great school for Catholic and non-Catholic families alike, providing students with the environment and tools to become confident young learners. Principal Beam and Admissions Director Mrs. O'Neil are incredibly clear, communicative, caring and thoughtful leaders. Teachers employ the classical method of teaching, and the classrooms are calm and organized. Not only does this school focus on academic excellence, but they have created a warm nurturing environment where children look out for each other and help one another. We are grateful to have found SMS, and be a part of the school community.

Our experience at St. Michael School has been wonderful. We have 4 children at the school and have been so happy with our experience here! I can't imagine going months between seeing my children's teachers, here we get to check in with them as often as we need to. The only downside is that the school is currently in a growing season and that has affected the availability of sports and extra curriculars. They are still present and what we felt was lacking is easily made up for the Rec Dept down the street, so it hasn't been a huge problem. I love how the school meets each child's individual needs. Our oldest is being challenged in new ways, which she needs in order to keep growing. And our youngest is receiving a bit of extra help, which he also needed in order to keep growing. Neither is made to feel better or worse, or odd or different. Each child is unique and SMS recognizes and looks for ways to help them each thrive. Our oldest was just accepted to Northfield Mount Hermon School for high school next year. We wanted to make sure she had a great foundation in order to be able to succeed at NMH and SMS has given her just that.

My children have been here for the last 3 years. We have been very happy with this school. There is a strong Catholic core due to the wonderful principal and parish priest. The children are experiencing new and great things at SMS. I have read the other bad reviews, which are at least 5 years old, and haven't seen or experienced any of those things. I can only assume that they have been striving to make these positive changes and we have reaped the benefits. We are looking forward to each continued year at St. Michael's!

Both my boys went to St. Michael School from Pre-K through 6th grade and it was a great stepping stone for them. They received a great education and confidence in themselves and their abilities. The thing I loved the best was the sense of family, I knew my kids were loved and their best interest always came first. We have lots of great memories of St. Michael School!!!

St. Michael’s has been an amazing school for my son. The faculty and staff are so helpful, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend the school if you are looking for a small, peaceful, kind community for for child to go to school in.

My two children have gone to St. Mike's for several years and have had a great experience. It is a nurturing, kind school with an extraordinary principal. The education standards are high and set your children up for a great future. I highly recommend the school.

awful. there are lots of 'former students' with good reason. this is primarily a school for kids of the local police who won't put their kids in public school. some teachers are actually year long substitutes who don't know how to plan a lesson. zero stars.

This is a welcoming and nurturing environment where the emphasis is on learning. The administration has no trouble pushing the staff to do their best and the teachers in turn demand the best from the students. The structure results in very well behaved students. The student body is composed primarily of children from successful families and it shows as almost all students are strip us about learning. And the smartest get an extra push to make sure they are challenged.

we do not recommend this day care. low quality child care. low standards. they use out-dated methods.
