    When we were considering moving to the area, the school ratings were an area of initial concern. However, what we learned by visiting the school district in 2017 is that there had been a relatively dramatic level of change in staffing in between the data we could see here, and our visit and all of it was overwhelmingly positive.Staff knows the students, on a very solid level. They know the parents. They are all committed professionals, who go above and beyond to bring activities and expanded learning opportunities to the students, despite being in a smaller community.

    My child has started this new school year and is flourishing in the new atmosphere. I was initially uneasy about the transition from elementary to intermediate, but have been pleasantly surprised. The teachers are very caring and promote academic excellence. Two thumbs up from this mama!!
