When we were considering moving to the area, the school ratings were an area of initial concern. However, what we learned by visiting the school district in 2017 is that there had been a relatively dramatic level of change in staffing in between the data we could see here, and our visit and all of it was overwhelmingly positive.Staff knows the students, on a very solid level. They know the parents. They are all committed professionals, who go above and beyond to bring activities and expanded learning opportunities to the students, despite being in a smaller community.

I can’t even think of a rate . Over the years they have just gotten worse.

Great district for bringing up kids in a small town. I plan to keep my child in this district through HS!

My family loves Boyd schools. The teachers are attentive and caring. The staff is wonderful and they are always trying to get the parents and families involved in the educational process. We moved to Arlington for a short time while our son was still in kindergarten and we could not wait to get back to Boyd to get him in a decent school again. We are just thankful that we were in a position to pack up and move back. Now that our youngest is also attending this school I am able to spend allot of my time volunteering at the school and playing a much larger role in my kids at school education.
