My son has spent three years at this school and it has all been a good experience!

This is not a good school. I've really liked a couple of the teachers my kids have had and I enjoy volunteering. The ladies in the office have been much nicer once they know I like to be involved and the last lady who ran the PTA was nice too. Other than that... They say they are above average but they ignore some numbers that I think matter. 32% in math when leaving the school is bad. Failing like that while celebrating success I find to be misleading. Students per classroom is a solid single value statistic and they are certainly above average there (that's bad). Recently I had my dogs with me when I dropped my kids off and they called the cops on me for it. They are both about 35 pounds. They don't even approach other parents to tell them their dogs aren't allowed and every time I see them not caring about their pets I realize that the Kindergarten teacher that called the cops was more afraid of my two visible tattoos than my dogs. I still haven't figured out how to tell my kid's teacher how much I don't want to volunteer there anymore. She's one of the good teachers. A couple good teachers can't overcome the rest of it.

I originally typed a longer review and I shouldn't have as I may have to move back to that neighborhood and variances aren't a guaranteed thing to get. What I should have said is that they have a few great people but that doesn't outweigh the rest of it all. If you are considering schools in where to live this is a negative for living here.

My son attends preschool at Boulton, and he loves it! His teachers Rebecca and Nathan are amazing with all the little kids. Unfortunately we are moving out of the district and we will greatly miss Boulton.

Very unprofessional principle, there are some good teachers at this school that wish they had the right principle and administration to back them. unfortunately the administration hired a principle that makes racial remarks, and intimidates students, or decides to carry herself in an unprofessional manner. The board of education should see her during pick up time, how she yells during car line and how she communicates to parents in front of staff and the children and other parents. If you want your child to begin learning their ABC's in their first year of Kindergarten, this is the place.

We are very happy with the education our children are receiving at Boulton. They love going to school and they love learning.

I Love Boulton. My son's kindergarten teacher was always there if we needed her. They had gym, computer classes, music class. He loved them all.

I am an actual student at Boulton Elementary I am a 6th grader though. I think Boulton is an astounding elementary school they have great teachers and a great helpers for children who might be a little slower then most. I do agree that the principal isn't the best compared to our last principals we had but she keeps our school running alright. I actually loved this school so much my parents worked their butts off just so I could get a variance to this school after I moved. I really enjoy this school and I think lots of other kids would too!

My daughter is in Kindergarten and I have been so impressed with what she has learned this year. She is already reading very well and she loves school. I think all the teachers at Boulton really care about their students and love what they do. I am however extremely disappointed with the current principal. She treats all the teachers and parents with disrespect and is not accommodating to students needs. With that being said, I hope we get a new principal soon because I think the teachers, students and parents deserve someone who is more caring and will accommodate their needs.
