    My daughters attended Kindergarten and 4th grade for the 2012-2013 school year and had a great overall experience at Bossier Elementary. The teachers and staff provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment for the students to excel both socially and academically.

    Bossier Elementary is a hidden gem! Teachers are hard working and dedicated to these children. There's really no kid left behind here. Our child is bussed across town to go to Bossier for Special Ed. While I was initially concerned, we couldn't be happier. I rate Parent involvement low, contrary to the criteria, because it's not due to the lack of effort of the teachers/leadership. They have a "parent of the month" program and school personnel regularly send out information for parents including workshop and volunteer information in addition to information on how parents can help their kids at home. However, regardless of their efforts, they get very little support. Make no mistake, this is an "inner city" school, but it's warm and loving inside.
