I think Starmount High is a great school. The teachers and faculty really care about the students. Since my daughter has been going there the classes have helped her build confidence in herself. Im sad to know other school districts dont care about the students like this school does. As always Go Rams

We just moved to NC and enrolled this year my son as a 9th grader. So far he like the school and likes most of his teachers. In some ways the school is more up to date than the school we departed from. His teachers are very interested in his intrest into collage helping him go in the right direction. The pricipal is strict but very fair with the kids. The one thing that does bother me is that at some functions the parents of other schools and this school smoke on campus. The clases are much smaller than where he came from and he gets more one on one attention from the teachers. The teachers and pricipal are very proud of their school and take pride in the students. So far we are very pleased with this school overall.

...this school needs get their priorities together! The counselor for the seniors almost refuses to help with any questions they have for college. She discourages them instead of helping them. The new principal spends more time trying to take things away from the students and make the teachers miserable than she does trying to improve the academics. And the teachers are so frustrated with the principal that they are taking it out on the students. What's going on Starmount?
