There are certainly some teachers at Amity that might reconsider their careers in the Covid/Post Covid educational setting. We're never going back, and you're punishing children for things they can not impact. There are also amazing teachers entering the profession that should be cherished. Several years of principal turnover has impacted the teachers as much as the state's funding deficits. The staff at Amity truly connect with the kids, and I'm happy when my daughter tells me about how the front office staff know her (without her being a troublemaker). The PTA is lacking, but I feel that's a joint effort from the parents and administrative staff learning to jell.

It's unfortunate to see this school go downhill. Ten years ago I would've highly recommended Amity, however, some of the best teachers have since left, there are a few still there but there have been so many changes. The last year my daughters attended there was zero done about bullying and no protection. My nephews currently go and don't like going to school anymore and it's so sad.

My overall experience at this school was not exactly a walk in the park. The teachers weren't great at their job and neither was the principal.

We have been at Amity for 3 years now and we have been very happy with our educational experiences. My children have had positive, upbeat and encouraging teachers. The staff is wonderful and there is a sense of community within this schools walls.

This school has excellent teachers, and incredible programs to help children falling behind to catch up and thrive. The principal has an immense report not only with the parents but outstandingly with the students as well. Children who are already succeeding do very well here and are challenged. I have 4 children at Amity and I have never had any problems with staff and faculty. This is a top 5 school for Idaho and it shows us why every day.
