Great school and my children are thriving in it! As a mom who wants the best education opportunities possible for her children, I feel confident to say that we have found it at SLAM!

As a student who has been at SLAM Boca since 6th grade, I can say with confidence that it’s an outstanding school. The emphasis on security is impressive—staff are always present, and the campus is equipped with up-to-date safety measures that ensure students feel secure throughout the day.The true highlight of SLAM Boca, however, is its tight-knit community. The school fosters a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels like family. The teachers are exceptional; they’re not only skilled educators but also deeply invested in their students’ personal and academic growth. This supportive atmosphere makes learning engaging and enjoyable.Overall, SLAM Boca excels in both security and community spirit, making it a fantastic place for students to grow and thrive.

SLAM! Boca has offered both of my students excellent opportunities to excel in the classroom through advanced placement courses and accelerated learning through dual enrollment. While attending local public schools, neither of my students were given the rigor or attention in their studies to feel challenged. At SLAM, they are allowed to set goals such as earning their associates degree while the school monitors their progress to ensure they are on track.

This school has been everything we were looking for to provide my children with a strong education and focus on career paths related to athletics since they know that is the field they want to pursue. The staff has been super friendly and helpful when it came to enrolling and we are so happy we chose Slam Boca!

I do not recommend this school unless your child is quiet, compliant, and does not question authority. The staff at this school does not know how to handle diversity. They fail to support students who do not fit their ideal mold and instead resort to punishing them for even minor infractions. The primary form of punishment is to suspend students for days, which has undoubtedly contributed to a decline in overall student performance.

To be honest, I didn't like studying at this school. I only stayed there for 4 years, because of the friendships, but apart from that, I don't miss anything about this school after I graduated. In 4 years I never learned anything, all the good teachers they fired or they couldn't take it and they quit. The staff treats us very rudely, as if they had the right to treat us like garbage for the simple fact of being part of the staff (except for the principle and some who worked there, such as Mrs.batista and Mrs.Soler) people there just made me feel anxious and not to mention that many teachers didn't give a grade for some work done, they forgot and we simply got a bad grade because of the teacher. Slam doesn't have the experience to be a school, not even at my graduation ceremony did I get emotional about leaving.

My child’s second year at Slam Boca. We are very satisfied with a school. The staff is very professional, the principal is doing a great Job.The best math teacher is Ms. Sioreti. Overall all the teachers are very helpful, and the communication is great between parent and teacher. Our school zoning is not good, I am very glad that we found this school.

New administration has been nothing but wonderful. Always guided my child in the right direction in her previous role at the school. They have an accelerated collegiate Academy as well as dual enrollment. My child was never treated as a number always as an individual and the administration has always helped my child and guided her in the right direction academically to which she has now excelled in the couple of years she has been there. Highly recommended this school.

The staff is very rude to say the least treat my kid like complete garbage for having troubles in their class my daughter was having a problem with one of her classes they tried to justify it my daughter has issues with big class rooms she feels as if it’s hard to gain information and speak in them she emailed her guidance counselor explaining that too her she responded with there’s nothing I can do for you so as my daughter struggles in class the person who handles schedules refuses to help her switch its unfair she loves the rest of her schedule but wants to fix to classes and she can’t even get accommodated this school staff is awful and very rude and has no understanding I’m not sure what school is a better option. 21-22 school year was amazing point being under other administration Mr. B the school was an amazing place to attend after new administration it has been extremely awful and I hope the original principal returns

The school is very disorganized. Not much diversity, and general lack of multicultural awareness. Several times teachers put incorrect grades/put zeros for work completed on time and takes forever to correct gradebook. It’s a sports based school yet lacks options for sports (there isn’t even an indoor gym), lack of options for clubs, and many students are judgmental and unkind. You are better off with a public school experience.

Slam Boca did an excellent job with virtual school during the lockdown, but sadly now they seem to have become overcrowded and the staff went from enthusiastic and eager to teach to apathetic and unmotivated. The school is run inefficiently and the principal acts like a tyrant. My son got a detention for not wearing a belt, meanwhile I have learned that the security staff goes from room to room three times a week asking the children to lift up their shirts to determine whether or not they are wearing a belt, they note any uniform in fractions and the tutor students are sent detentions. When I confronted the principal saying that I did not feel that not wearing a belt was a good reason for a detention, and I didn’t think it was appropriate for children to have to lift up their shirts to show their waist lines to security staff he told me that it was an important lesson to teach the children to conform so that they would be prepared after college when they go into a workplace and are required to have a dress code. I was appalled imagine if children already having insecure body images are forced to lift up their shirt and expose it to an adult three times a week what that will do to them and what kind of things it will teach them. I have since withdrawn my son from the school I am very sad at what they have become. Parents beware. I could go on because there are many other things that I have seen that have been going on there that is very sad but I’ll leave it at that.

SLAM Boca made a big difference in my son's life, at SLAM he is respected and motivated. The school is organized, requires the use of uniform even at High School, also, the school encourages sports a lot. The staff is kind and tries to solve any problem quickly.
