Terrible staff. Get your kid in a different school!!!! I have had one too many experience with this school being negative and rude. I have had staff yell at myself and many other parents for not moving the car fast enough while trying to help my children get out of the car. I have witnessed staff close the 8am door in kids faces and say "Oh well your late" nd roll their eyes at the child. I have had a teacher be rude to my son because she had no understanding of my sons sensory issue and why he may run late 5 min in the morning some days. I have had a teacher laugh at my face about how my child is behind. I have had my son not eat lunch items because he says no one is there to help him open his snacks. I have had my daughter witness a staff member saying they cannot tie a child shoe because of cvoid! So a poor child had to take a risk of falling on his shoelaces because a staff member was choosing to be lazy and blame it on cvoid. They listen to a 6 year old over her parent... They sent my daughter home and refused to have her back with not a single symptom of cvoid because my daughter said she had a headache. She has never had a headache her entire life.

Mostly my experience has been great. Just need to find a string and positive leader for the school to have consistency in the administration. Teachers and staff and great and really care about the students growth and well being.

Teachers and Learning are 10! Some other staff members need more training in helping others

Extremely disappointing as this school was highly recommended but seems to be totally willing to tolerate subpar teachers.

Everything with this school is great. Teachers take interest in their students and are very effective with their teaching methods. My son and I loved it here.

School teachers have no time for struggling or special needs children only worried about test scores not developing character or love of learning.

I think DPES is a great school because if you do something wrong, DP staff does not get mad at you, they actually encourage to make mistakes so you can improve them and at this school when you walk into the Panther Zone you feel very welcome!

Our son first began attending Del Prado in 2013 and he loves it ever since. The teachers and administrative personnel have been very accommodating, permanently engaged, and open to dialogue. I recommend this school to all parents!

Del prado is run by the PTA. They are all over the place and seem like they have more power than the teachers or administration. They are constantly asking for more money but so much is wasted with over printing. My child generally has 5-6 unnecessary flyers every day and the teacher reprints reminders for everything instead of utilizing the class website with email notifications that was set up. The teachers and school are far more interested in keeping up appearance with cutesy Pinterest projects than a thorough education. Not a bad school but feels focused on the wrong things.

We have been part of the Del Prado family for 3 years now and have had the greatest experience. I am a former teacher, and I know how difficult it can be to run a safe and effective school. This school goes above and beyond for the students. Parent involvement is a huge aspect of the success of a school, and you can always count on the parents of Del Prado to help make the year a great one. The staff responds to our concerns immediately, and the principal is a great motivator. This is a school where the higher level students actually encourage the lower level ones. The school continually gets top scores. Do not worry about sending your children to Del Prado!

Office staff is rude, uncaring and passes the buck. My husband and I always get the run-around. They will never go out of their way to help you. Typical failed system. No one thinks outside the box, no one problem solves. Very disappointed.

I am very pleased with my son being in Del Prado. It's a wonderful school with a good gifted program. Teachers, office staff and the principal are always professional, warm and ready to help.

Terrible school. Don't be fooled by the rating. They will not help your child if he/she is struggling.

Great school. Nice staff and teachers. This is the best elementary school I know. We are moved from Vero Beach, Florida to Boca Raton Florida looking for good elementary schools, finally we found Del Prado Elementary School to educate our son

Good luck fitting in. Do some research on the neighborhood around the school and you'll understand. The level of exclusion by the parents and the students is disgusting. The school was a little above average. It is way behind Addison Mizner.

First Of All The Front Desk And Nurse Are Ridiculous, They Cannot Use Common SenSe In So Many Levels. My DaughterThe Gifted But In The End What Matters Is The Teachers. Last Year She Was Not InThe Gifted But The Teacher Was Much Better.... For Those Wondering If They Should Move To This District Because Of The School Rating Don't Waste Your Time Or Money Since 20% Of The Students Use Their Friends Or Family Addresses For The First Year, After That No more Address Check. Very Disappointed With Their System.b

We had 3 children in this school and we are happy we took our children out of Del Prado. Our oldest was in Del Prado for 5 yrs and had some teachers that were not qualified to teach. They do play favorites sometimes. I think maybe the gifted program is much better. That is what all the hype is about. The regular program is "C. " They did little to help my advanced child that I didn't put into the gifted program. This child is very happy at a much better school. So much inconsistency. The kindest person was Dale Martin in the office.
