Our child receives math and reading help from BSTSE. They have helped him--however, I wish they were able to offer more services than they do. When obtaining services for your Special Needs child, what they might need, and what they actually get, can be different, due to the goofy laws/rules the Public Schools adhere to for "Educational diagnosis" vs. "Medical diagnosis". My child would do much better at a Groves Academy-type school, but it has been a battle with funding. We are very appreciative our child receives some help, but it is definitely not as much as he truly needs.
