This charter school, burned my kids to any and all charter schools. When I removed them from this school and put them into public school, they tested way below average for their grade, and before this charter took over our small town elementary school, my girls were in GATE and had straight A's, after 6 months of this charter, my girls were failing all their classes!

I have 2 students at this school. The staff, teachers and principals are very involved. The principal is outside before and after school speaking with each parent personally about their child. I have never felt as safe sending my children to school. The area is great. The security is great. They do not let the kids who are misbehaving continue. They are a small school, with a small community, so they do not have as many extracurricular activities to offer as a private school, but for a tuition free school it can't be beat. As for the downsides, I wish there was a stronger parent community and an outdoor space. They do however, bus the kids to a beautiful park nearby and my kids don't come home sunburned everyday! They have a new principal now who works harder than I have ever seen any school staff member work. I know she will do great things and this school will continue to flourish.

Our daughter attended the school last year in Kindergarten, and is currently in first grade. We love the sense of community the school has and the leadership has been great. The school is a project based school and allows for students to have hands on learning. We are extremely happy to be a part of the AEA Academy community.

We have four children in school. Ms. Lam is the best teacher any of our children have ever had. Last year, my son learned Morse code on the recorder, learned how to have a conversation in Chinese, and participated in excellent and challenging team projects. The communication with teachers has been exceptional. I feel like we really have a voice in this school, and as parents, we have an opportunity to participate in building something wonderful together. I'm so glad we are a part of this special school in its early days!

My son went to Einstein for Kindergarten and is returning for First Grade. I feel so blessed that we found Einstein Academy, and my son is proud to be a scholar there. His teacher last year went above and beyond including sending me emails on a regular basis on his progress. She put up pictures weekly of the kids in class on the classroom website. My son has made some great friends here, and is learning and thriving! He is confident and happy to go to school. The principal, Mr. Fishler is great. He has the best can-do attitude and is devoted to these kids and the school. The teachers all have a fire within them and are passionate, not what you typically see at public schools where teaches have a more jaded and pessimistic outlook. Considering this school was new last year, they did have some hiccups, but I feel overall it is the best place for my son to be. I look forward to what is to come this year!

Considering the fact that the 2015-2016 school year was the first for AEA Beverly Hills, it went surprisingly smooth. Yes, there were some hiccups but nothing that ever got in the way of our kids' learning and social experience. Our 2nd and 3rd grader LOVED going to school. They came come from a "distinguished" LAUSD school and did fine there, but they were not happy (challenged, excited, enthusiastic). At AEA, they really could talk all day about what they learned, what's going on with their friends, etc etc without being asked. We're so happy they're thriving and we're grateful to all the staff and parents who make all of this possible. We're looking forward to continued growth and success in the coming school years and we're proud to be a part of the AEA Fam!

Something's not right here. People seem to be trying, but it's disorganized and disjointed. Many families have left and are leaving. We had no choice to pull out and return to our local school.
