You will not find more caring teachers, staff and parent community at any other school. It is a diverse title 1 school located in a thriving creative community. The administration is top notch. The teachers are well educated above their pay levels and some hold doctorate degrees, including in the administration. We moved to Berlin so that our children would benefit from a Buckingham education. They learn valuable life skills, learning how to interact with others who are not exactly like them as well as academics.

There are some great staff members at Buckingham. The administration is anything but great. I have went into the school on numerous occasions and witnessed office staff screaming at children in small rooms with closed doors while a resource officer and several staff members continued their business as if it's an acceptable and common occurrence. Communication is non-existent and if you reach out you can expect to be patronized and belittled, made to feel as though you are an inconvenience. For a school that consistently requests more funding and refuses to demonstrate what they use the money for, I'd expect a higher level of consideration for the families that are responsible for that funding.

This school is just awesome ~ fantastic students & teachers! Both of my children attended this school & now I have the pleasure to be a part of their team by working there!
