I had two kids in this school. One of them was severely traumatized, the other one fared better but was also not really happy. They have ZERO help for kids during recess. When there is a fight kids are told off, when there is bullying they rather victim blame than helping the child. The principal is old fashioned and loves teachers that yell at and punish kids. Group punishments? Great! Shaming a kid as punishment? Yes!The school has a few fantastic teachers but it doesn't make up for the rest.

Being one of the smallest elementary schools in the district, Oxford offers a very cozy and tight-knit community feel. Principal Rhine knows almost every kid by name, greets students and families by the gate every morning, and her leadership has helped the school settling smoothly into the new beautiful campus. The teachers are amazing and caring, and the community as a whole is engaging. We were debating on whether to send my kid to Oxford or a nearby private school. We are so glad that we are here.

My daughter loves Oxford. She loves her teachers and all the adults working in the school. It's the smallest elementary in the district and is the perfect size for my daugther.

Very good experience. Good foundation for academic and social life in middle school and high school.

Excellent. My kids love going to school every day, and are getting a better education than I did at their age.

Although a little sad and up set that my child teacher has been unable to come back until December of this year and my child has been having sub after sub. I believe this is a great school with friendly staff and parents. I know since my child started this school the parents are on board just as the teachers. Great school and principal

This school has a really involved parent community, and teaches the whole child. The lunch program is healthy and ecologically aware (there is compost and recycling). There are programs for inclusion awareness, and Yoga, art, and gardening programs! The Kindergarten has a hired second teacher in most of the classes a third of the class time, and so it is often a 10:1 ration. More than that there are usually three to four adults in the room with the 20 Kinders because of parent volunteering. I love it there!

For the most part, a fantastic, dedicated teaching staff. New principal coming in, but highly acclaimed. Former principal was incredible, setting very high standards for all students, and helping them achieve those standards.
