  Some teachers are just very bad and have no respect for you. other teach too quickly and give extensive amounts of homework due in a minimal amount of time.

  My 2 children graduated from Bergenfield High School within the last few years. Both took full advantage of all the opportunities afforded to them and had great success at BHS. They both received substantial scholarships to their chosen colleges, and their success has continued in college. I credit this to the rigorous curriculum of BHS, and the amazing teachers they had. Since elementary school, Bergenfield has put at emphasis on writing, and this has served them well, both in their AP classes, and now in college. My oldest went into college with 16 credits, and my youngest with 32 credits, thanks to the AP program in Bergenfield. Special mention to some incredible teachers: Ms. Thadani, Mr. Baldwin, Ms. Hilburn, Mr. Corey McGrath, and Ms. Aguado. Both of my kids were part of the amazing music program, both played sports, and my oldest was an officer on student council. If you want to be a part of a varied, wonderful school community, Bergenfield High School is there for you. They received a great education, had the best of teachers, wonderful coaches, and a safe, nurturing environment.

  The teachers at BHS are dedicated and I believe it starts from the top. The administration cares about these kids and that filters down. Also, there are a wide range of AP and other courses that will help all these kids be prepared for life after school. Parents must stay involved in the academic choices of their children to help them take advantage of it.

  I have three children that graduated B H S. Two are still in college, one with a full academic scholarship. My oldest now works for a Fortune 500 Company. I credit the dedicated teachers, and the schools' standards for building the fraimewrork for my chldrens' success

  Bergenfield High School has a great cirriculum with many opportunities and a excellent music program.

  This school is one of the best kept secrets in Bergen County. They offer a vigorous curriculum. The music program is excellent. The athletic programs are very competitive. Our children love this school.

  This school offers over 21 AP courses and a medical apprentice program. My children are always busy at this school.

  BHS keeps improving. They keep moving up the NJ Monthly Best HS Rankings and were ranked as one of Bergen County's Most Challenging High Schools by the Washington Post. My daughter has done very well here and we are glad we made the decision to go to BHS.

  The school has jumped 100 spots from 2008 to 2010 and will keep on improving, so that 2 star rating was inappropriate. Like what most will say about Bergenfield's school district, the Music Department is the most standout program in the school system--voted as one of the best music communities in America with a rich marching band history and one of the few schools with Electronic Music classes. They've raised their academic standards in general, adding more AP classes since I graduated, even AP art courses. They're also helping students more with college planning and campus visits.The facilities have been upgraded: new field track, gym floors, gym lockers, restrooms, and have more renovations in plan. The athletics have improved greatly. The wrestling program is one of, if not the best of its division. Football team went from a losing streak to ranking in the top 25 of North Jersey. The school is moving in the right direction and less students are choosing schools outside of the district.

  Well since I'm in RWB, i don't know much about the teachers and classes, but I heard the marching band is supposed to be known somewhat for the recent movies they've done and how bad the football team is. The bounty hunter, and appearing in the early morning shows. I hear they get tons of money for their part and is very good.
