Cambridge Elementary was recently named a State and National School of Character. This is a rigorous evaluation reviewing academics, family and community involvement, school culture, and discipline data. The principal and staff truly care about the well-being of students. This is evident as soon as you enter the building. The school is located within walking distance of many subdivisions in a great community.

I had four kids go through this school. All of them were very successful there. The staff was great! There was a lot of parent involvement. Highly recommended.

THE WORST SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PUT YOUR CHILD IN. ITS A VERY VERY VERY POOR SCHOOL WHICH MEANS THEY ARE ONLY THERE TO COLLECT A PAYCHECK. THE SCHOOL ITSELF IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING . NOTHING IS UP TO DATE. THE STAFF IS STUCK UP. THE SCHOOL COP FOLLOWS YOU ONCE YOU LEAVE. GOING TO THIS SCHOOL YOUR CHILD WILL GO NOWHERE IN LIFE AND THAT IS NOT FAIR TO THEM. KEEP LOOKING. YOUR CHILD IS WORTH MORE THEN THIS SCHOOL I PROMISE YOU THAT.

I’m sure there are passionate teachers in the school looking to make a difference. This just hasn’t been the case for my student in the two going on three years he’s been here. I do not recommend for people of color, students with learning disabilities or that need more attention. Staff is in dire need of diversity.

The special ed in this school is abhorant. Parents and specialists that parents bring are dealt with with distain. They refuse to comply with what is necessary for the sp needs child to be successful. They are hostile, sneaky, and inappropriate. Ex: my child is not to have sweets of any kind. During one of the party times I took her to an appt instead so she wouldn't have to deal with it. The teacher saved a mountain of sweets from the party and gave them to my daughter every day the next week, telling her not to tell me.

I love this school, all the staff members show compasion towards the students. The school is engaging with the parents and make everyone feel like they are a part of their childs education.
