It's sad that Notre Dame needs to write fake reviews just to give an impression of competency. This place has more in common with my husband's tech company than a real school. Every day my daughter comes home with swollen eyes because all the teachers do is throw them in front of a computer and lets a robot website teach them. We expect more discipline from a Catholic school, and grades are all fake so universities don't take us seriously anymore. sad!!*Also they do NOT teach BC Calculus here, that is a complete lie

The teachers and staff were incredible in creating a curriculum when COVID hit. And they continue to be the bright spot of the school with their continuous support and care of the students. It's this personal connection that makes the education highly valuable for our daughter. As we wrapped up 2021 and come into 2022, we are seeing the renewed strength of the NDB community and look forward to seeing this continue to grow and thrive under the leadership of the new Head of School.

It is our first year at Notre Dame and they really roll out the red carpet for new families! So many community events that we already feel at home. So far we are very happy with our choice.

Our daughter just started at NDB and we are thrilled with her positivity and love of the school in this first month. The application and admissions process were wonderful. The admissions team was very helpful at all steps of the process and we have an overwhelmingly positive experience. So far every teacher, staff and volunteer has been so welcoming and helpful. We are so glad we made the choice for our daughter to attend Notre Dame High School.

This school is lacking in the fun factor. All the activities/events have so many rules that it's hard to have fun at them. The girls are catty and the atmosphere among peers is not inclusive. The majority of students would rather transfer out of there. There is a ton of homework and the teachers seem to leave the teaching to technology. This is a Catholic school but there are barely any teachings about God and the bible.

This school does not foster a warm environment. The girls are not strong and independent but rather very insecure and unstable. The school is not inclusive by an means. The education is far better elsewhere. It appears the tuition is to maintain the landscape of the school and faculty pay - this is not what the education there is worth. Grades are padded. I recommend going to other schools as this place is toxic.

Going to this school was one of the worst experiences of my life. 4 years later, and I still feel this way. They just want your money so they can spend it on unnecessary bouncy houses at every event. They only “care” about your “education” if you have rich parents and they’re pouring money into the school. Waste of money and time, find anywhere else to go to.

I am a graduate of Notre Dame HS class of 2008. I must say attending Notre Dame is one of the best experiences I have had. I made great friends, formed great bonds, and had an amazing learning experience. The environment is great for young women.

The school has too many extra activities during the school day and not enough focus on learning.

Hi, I am a current student a NDB. I am a freshman and cam from Woodside Elm. school. Woodside was a GREAT school and I am a good student and wanted to go to an academically challenging school with good teachers. I am also into art and science. I did all the shadowing, open houses, and talked to many teachers and girls who go to the school. I thought it would be a good school. Going to NDB was the WORST thing I could have done for myself. I have a 3.9 right now and am in 2 honors classes. The teachers are awful and do not stay on topic. There are not challenging writing projects, no good in class reading books, and the spanish department is the worst part of the school. The spanish teachers are hard to talk to and are not good at explaining the language. The religion classes are disrespectful. My best friend is not Catholic (unlike myself) and the teachers do not respect her beliefs. Socially, I am fine and have friends, but many of the girls I don't hang out with are mean, disrespectful, and talk behind your back. I have been called gay because I hugged my friend. That was stupid!! I have not enjoyed my time at this school and am transferring to Menlo School. One star school.

I am a graduate of Notre Dame HS and could not be happier or more proud of a high school community. I always felt supported by the majority of the teachers and staff. The environment allowed me to develop a personal sense of my self without the competition of "the best" clothing and trying to impress the boys. I have developed friendships that have last years. I was pushed to work hard but I have a sister who had learning disabilities that were aided by close, open releationships with her teachers. Both of my sister and I have successful careers made easier by the valuable, tight knit community we flourished in at Notre Dame.
