My boys love their school. They feel at home and are flourishing there. They love their teachers, both past and present. The new facelift the school got recently only adds the the charming character that our school has. On a side note, one of the boys favorites things is the ipads as a learning tool in the classrooms. But only one of the many aspects that they adore. Just really love how happy my boys after a school day. They feel fulfilled and a true sense of belonging. Nothing better than that!!!

My son has attended at St. Bernard for 5 years hands down has been the best decision we have made for his education. The new principal has set direction, is building an inspiring vision, and is creating something new and exciting for the school every day!

My two boys have been at St Bernard since pre-k and love it. The school has improved since then and now has a catered lunch program. The principle is beyond great and is doing everything in his power to make the school better each year for the students. We love it here.

St. Bernard school has been an amazing school by far. My daughter recently starting attending this school after some very hard times and unacceptable experiences in public school. I’m so glad I made the move for her. She Loves it here and comes home everyday with something new and positive to say.

We love St Bernard, this is a great school. My son and daughter both attend St. Bernard. The teachers, principal and faculty really care about the students. I' really happy that the kids are learning not only academically but also spiritually in the faith of god and our religious beliefs.

Extremely small school with stagnant growth and minimal opportunities for your child to experience beneficial growth and opportunities. After school programs are almost non existent and staff are overwhelmed with responsibility. The academic aspects are not above public schools, maybe in some school in Bellflower, but that's about it. Staff are always friendly and courteous but do the bare minimum to pass the day. It's really unfortunate that after years of attending this school, there has still not been any growth. Seems as though the whole school consists of children of alumni's that want their kids to attend the same. exact. school. they attending when they were children. Unfortunately, their are so many great private school that offer so much for the same price- better experiences, more spirituality, and most importantly academia!

Speaking from experience having my child attend currently, myself as a graduate in the (mid 90's), my spouse (early 90'S), spouses cousin's (late 80's), my father (50's/60's), aunt (50's/60's), and uncle (50's/60's) I have to say this school has been a great part of all of our lives. It provided a friendly and caring environment to grown spiritually, morally, and academically. As noted in a few comments below the principal knows every child by name along with the majority of the other teachers. The principle even knows parents by name. Whenever I have questions, comments, or concerns the staff listens and addresses any issues immediately. I would definitely recommend this school to friends. Lastly I agree fully with the parent who posted a comment on July 10, 2008. Education is shared responsibility between the school teacher and parent. As a parent we are the ones who ultimately lead our children to success or failure in their lives. After your child is done at school the parent needs to continue educating their child at home. Thank you St. Bernard for continuing to provide a great environment for my child to learn and grow as I and my family experienced in the past!
