Ramona elementary Bellflower is the worst. IEP is supposed to be a team effort NOT. This school is the worst. They just pass along your kid, don't even teach, don't grade any or check any work. Your kid has a one on one and the school calling you for advice or pick up your child.

I would rate it as my worst fears become reality

I just love Ramona! The teachers to out of their way to make sure the children are taught the skills they will need to be successful. This is also a fun school! The children love going to school every day because they are always doing something fun like a jog-a-thon, a lunch dance party, lunch with the principal, daily helpers, and all kinds of fun stuff. They bend over backwards to help parents and I really appreciate that. I love this school!!!

My son is attending 1st grade special education and it is barely the 3rd week of school and I already do not like how things are run here! Poor communication regarding homework, drop off area on rainy days, not to mention that he is mixed in with 2nd and 3rd grade children so I have no clue how that is affecting his learning and therapy. I am going to attempt to get him a transfer out ASAP and if that is not an option we will have to stick it out for the year but believe me, once school choice comes around I will be the first in line to pick another school.
