My child is currently in first grade and I am privileged to work with Ms. Song again as she is now the school coordinator for students. When my older child was in third grade, Ms. Song worked closely with me as she guided me in helping my child at home. She didn’t hesitate to communicate with me regularly in regards to my daughter’s academics and provided me with ways to support my child. And even now, as she’s working out of the classroom, I continue to ask for her guidance in helping my child. I am please to say, I have seen significant progress with my daughter’s reading and I know Ms. Song had great impact in her learning. Thank you Ms. Song!

This is a good school. Ms. Lam is the best teacher. She was so sweet to my kid and my child would always look forward to going to school every day when she had Ms.Lam. The Magnet program is really good. Kids are able to create art or participate in a play. The school is also located next to a fire station, so in case of an emergency, help is right next door. This school is overall great.

My daughter loves the Visual and Performing Arts program @ Nueva Vista.. If you are looking for a good school, it's not to late to enroll if you are an LAUSD parent. The arts program has openings for 3 & 4 grade and is currently accepting late applicants for the 2019-2020 school year Ask for the Magnet Coordinator. They have a great curriculum in academics and also encourages their students to choose classes in Art, Drama and Music.

Nueva Vista has a magnet program within the school that serves all children in lausd from 3rd grade through 5th grade. I didn't become aware of the this magnet until I researched. The magnet program doesn't have a magnet office and so if anyone is interested in their Visual and Performing arts magnet program you have to apply to e-choices website. As a parent I am happy for the opportunity my son had in attending the mangnet program. Teachers are excellent and my son's test scores were profiecient.

At first I thought this school was going to be awesome, because my younger brother went here. Now my kids go there the staff at the office have no manners towards parents. They are so unorganized when we want a information they have a bad attitudes I don't think that is not right! some teachers should also have manners, in how to treat better parents. And principles' should always hear both side of the story not what they believe to hear. And to teach children how to get alone with one another. No bullying this school should have a friendship day.

My son started Pre _K and I was very disappointed with the teacher. She didn t even introduce herself. I even ask to see the class room and she said it was not a good day! So what else can I expect from the school.

Nueva Vista starts school at 7:52 and gets out at 2:15. I think it's a fair school schedule.
