    My son had the most amazing kindergarten and first grade teachers at this school. I can't believe how much he learned, reading, writing, and math but also cooperation, giving back to the community, and music. It really is a wonderful, caring, neighborhood school.

    Our oldest is in First Grade at Dike-Newell, he's doing great. Reads well, great beginner math skills. Teachers are great, and the facility is very well maintained.

    My son is attending Dike-Newell. He is only in first grade and has become a very strong reader. Just last night my husband and I were surprised when he started rattling off his times tables. We're thrilled.

    Two of my children attended this school. The teachers are dedicated, positive, encouraging, professional, understanding and oftentimes go above and beyond to support their students as well as to foster a love of learning. Teachers at Dike-Newell have been open to communication from us and have been timely in their responses which we have appreciated greatly! Its annoying to me that they don't have a rating from 'GreatSchools' because the staff at Dike-Newell Elementary make it a Great School.

    My three children attended this school and all three thrived there. The teachers are high quality, dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional. They go above and beyond to support the students.
