This school is a prime example of a joke. No proper college readiness, no proper encouragement to learn, and no proper clubs for older highschoolers students to attend to. This school is a waste of money, time, and space, in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Terrible atmosphere, academics, staff, sports, opportunities, experiences, and encouragement. This school is the epitome of waste. My relative's kids go here, and I pick them up from this school sometimes. I see everything. All the poorly maintained facilities like the field, bathrooms and the surrounding areas, to the weak academic strength that the kids seem to output. It is a really disappointing school with the management being really irresponsible with handling the student body and not giving enough opportunities. Truly, this school needs to be avoided.

My cousins go to this school and it's absolutely terrible. No good number of sports to choose from, barely any encouragement to properly learn, and there are NO college classes that the highschoolers can take to ready themselves for college. It is an absolutely disappointing school where the principal was caught getting into a relationship with a student, and the new one was caught changing a student's grades illegally. This school has fallen from its history and now it's in a really sad state. I heavily DO NOT recommend this school

This school is a waste of money. When my student asked for help all he got was a "Try your best" which didn't help my child learn. They use our students for their benefit. They barely got a new gate to "protect" the school so it could be more safe. They use our children to make money for useless things. This school is a waste of time and gas. This school is a joke. They have no student involvement my child taught himself. There's no parent conference they let 8th graders and other grades watch kid movies instead of teaching the kids what they need to learn and the teachers aren't any good my son would ask for help on his math and the teacher would respond with "Go figure it out yourself" and they charge the parents five dollars for everything if your child is late even a minute you are charged and if your child is late walking in class during the mid-day you get charged five dollars. This school is a waste of money your child will not learn anything. THIS SCHOOL IS FULL OF BULLIES and the teacher and staff do nothing about it. Be careful graduates here are told in some cases their degree is bogus. Transfers to the Public school system end up re-taking classes because of a lack of proper accreditation. The teachers graduate from unaccredited schools. Be aware of the staff and do a background check on the folks involved.

CCS has it all! They are fully accredited by WASC. They offer K3-12th grade, all on the same campus. Their campus is expanding with new classrooms. The athletic program is growing and getting better! If you are wanting to put your child in a safe place where they will grow academically, socially and spiritually, this is the place!

Calvary Christian School has become the premier destination for education in the entire pass area. They are the only K3-12th grade school. They are fully accredited by WASC and their campus is growing. It's the only place to consider if you are wanting something better for your child.

I have 3 children attending Calvary Christian School. We have a low income but after the first 2 years of my oldest child saw what a great investment in his life it was. We have made many adjustments and sacrifices to put our other two girls there too, the school is really well worth it. They are not perfect children, one of them had learning difficulties but they invested a lot of time and love on her. The school underwent an accreditation process from preeschool through High School. Other students I know that have graduated there or transferred to public High School are excelling because of the great academical foundation they got. They don´t have many elective classes but they have a solid work ethic. I couldn´t be happier of the investment we are doing by having our children attend Calvary Christian School.

Be careful graduates here are told in some cases their degree is bogus. Transfers to the Public school system end up re-taking classes because of a lack of proper accreditation. The teachers graduate from unaccredited schools. Be aware of the staff and do background check on the folks involved.

The school was clean, but the academics were substandard. Teachers wasted class time and there was no college prep. Counselors did not advise on academic opportunities, scholarships, or college assistance. Okay for young children, but not suitable for college-bound graduates.

I would just like to say that this is a small school that houses around 200 students from the age of 4 thru the age of 18. This a small building and they have the best staff. I have never been to any school that the staff has demonstrated the love, and the will. This is a very small staff and for a private school you have to expect that their will be differences from public or even larger private schools. This school not only demonstrate strong leadership, respect, and authority, but the students learn these things. I have three girls who went to this school. The oldest already out of school. She attended for 3 years and never had a better attitude and grades. I still have 2 their, they are doing so well. The oldest made the honor roll and both of them have excelled in their studies this year. I can not wait to see what is in store for them next. The $5 fines that were talked about are to teach responsability and if you were working in the real world your boss would not out up with tardiness or any other issues. They are not accredited but are the best choice to send your children. You wont find a more dedicated and respectful school, I highly reccomend it. christine clark
