I, as a student of norris middle, have had an amazing experience at norris, there’s many hands on projects between classes, and the teachers here actually make an effort to make lessons enjoyable, I couldn’t have had a better experience in middle school, I haven’t had this much fun in years, now that schools ended I already feel the urge to return. Making friends their seems difficult at first but couldn’t be easier, i myself being someone who a lot of people know, but not necessarily popular found making new friends easy, as well as fitting into a clique of people. As every middle school should, they Don’t baby you through everything they put in the maximum effort into teaching students responsibility. In conclusion, for any parent wondering if they should enroll their child in this school, i recommend, from the variety of people, activities, classes, and overall acceptance this school is a 10/10.

We haven’t had the best experience at Norris so far. Many of the kids are clicky, unkind, and bullies. My child has never had an issue making friends, but it’s been tough here. The school also doesn’t seem to promote outside events, to help bring the families and kids together, outside of the regular school-day environment. With that being said, the administrative staff does take the negative environment and bullying very seriously and have been working with us to help resolve the issues, which I greatly appreciate.

I now have my third child going to this school. This is such a wonderful, caring, and up to date school. My second child entered hating school and was behind due to it. By the end of 7th grade she was so upset to leave for summer break. She was loving it so much. She is now a straight A student a Centennial is graduating with honors. If you can send your child here please do, you will see what I mean. The one on one teaching is amazing.

Norris Middle School has an attentive staff, and well qualified teachers. My two oldest sons have both attended school here over the past few years, and are strong academic students, but well supported by their studies here. The principal, Mr. Carr, is pleasant, and very suited to his profession. He runs a good campus, and staff. We have been pleased with all administrators, and teachers at this school.

I am a student of Norris middle school and between the teachers and students there is more favoritism with some students them others. The teachers at Norris aren't exited about teaching and the kids are not interested so they don't get it. As a former student I would say they don't decrease the population of bulling they increase it and that's why I hate going there. There are better schools in oil dale where I live and the yard aid (staff) try to get you in trouble and I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone who like learning because they will ruin it for you. I know they did for me!!

This school is a joke. We recently moved to this area and my child is already falling behind academically, the standards are so low. The teachers are unmotivated and do not follow through with what they say. The office staff are far to busy controlling (borderline bullying) students instead of acting like adults. These people can't even clear an absence correctly! The principal(s) are no better. We are already looking for a new place to live because I have to get my child out of this school. Do your child a favor and avoid this substandard school.
