My School and my experiences at the SchoolEstrella High School is a great place for students to be and to attend! Why? Because Estrella High School gives students what they need and the opportunity to learn. All the teachers and the workers on campus are all nice to all the students and they help and encourage us to do our best in class. I enjoy being in Estrella High School because my classes are easy and it helps me live and do stuff outside of school. Summer school was great, we had so much fun, like playing games, watching movies and visiting different colleges and universities. We had so much fun and we still learned and still had the credits. I attended all the games and trips and passed all my classes with an “A” in both. I still attended all the games and trips, my classes were very easy. I'm so happy to be a student at the EHS. When I started school in Estrella High School, my education was poor, but the teachers helped me a lot with my grammar, reading, and spelling. I started EHS 2 to 3 years ago and I have loved it ever seens. I was new in school and to the US. I was motivated and encouraged. All my teachers believed in me and they all helped me and encouraged me a lot. My principal and vice principal are great people. They give us what we need and motivate us and give us listening ears when we need them.

My experience at this school has been full of changes that are excellent and encouraging for the mind. I say my experience has been like that because I feel like since I've been here I have changed and I believe that I can achieve my goals that I have set for myself in life. The way I'll describe the atmosphere and community of my school is life changing. I say that because since I've been here I have opened up as a person and talked more to others. I used to be very shy and closed off, but I talk more and participate in clubs and activities. In the classroom it has been great because there are some teachers who you can get close to and talk with or ask them for something if needed. Not only are teachers the only ones you can talk to, but you can also talk to staff in the admin office. Most of the time they'll be quick to help you with whatever you need. I always say that being at this school is a home away from home because you can get close to so many people and change yourself for the better I know I have.

At Estrella High School my experience has been very good and enjoyable so far. I really like how small the school is because we get more one-on-one help than in regular high schools. The community here is remarkable. I enjoy how friendly the teachers and administrators are, it really motivates me to come to school everyday. Another thing that is beneficial to me is the access to clubs and flex fridays. Clubs help me engage in extracurricular activities and learn an extra skill or pick up a new hobby. In the classroom it’s a healthy learning environment, which allows me to stay focused and engaged with my work. I think the teachers at Estrella High School are great characters and they show they really care about their students' education and futures.

My experience at Estrella high school is safe and fun, this school makes me very comfortable and the teachers are very nice and warm hearted. I really enjoy my fellow classmates and I really enjoy my favorite teacher Ms.Saunders. Ms.Saunders is a really good teacher and likes her economics class because she makes it fun and safe . Being on campus is fun because I get to see all my friends and the office staff. The staff are always here to listen to what I have to say and are always helping me with school assignments or personal issues.

My experience at Estrella HIgh School has been great. The atmosphere is student friendly, easy to talk to regarding life and academic issues. The administration and teachers work with your learning style and progress in school and are willing to get personal to help you be successful. The office staff are very friendly and definitely are cool to converse with about anything. The principal and vice principal, Ms.Powell and Ms.Pendelton, respectively, always greet us in the mornings and are always able to solve any problem we have. I believe this school is very welcoming, especially with the other teachers always greeting you and are truly accepting of anyone.

My experience at Estrella High school has been an uplifting experience. They've helped me through struggles whether it be personal or educational, and show that they care by either involving you in activities or helping you reach your out of school future goals. In the classroom it is small and very inclusive. The teachers don’t move on until you understand the concept, and if you don’t understand one way they come with another way to look at things. The teachers help you get through a concept if you weren’t taught something elsewhere without a judging attitude and don’t just skip over something because you haven’t learned it. The staff are like family and create a relationship with you based on how much they’ve seen you and the interactions. The principal is very interactive with students whether it’s help with classes or questions on anything on campus. The field trips have been very fun and informative. I’ve been to the Music Museum in northern Phoenix and the Odyssey Aquarium in Scottsdale, as well as Estrella Mountain Community College. At Estrella they helped set up my enrollment not just specifically for their college, but for any college I want to attend. Although they don’t have sports, they have clubs and other activities you can join. With the principal's help I was able to attain a fourth class in order to graduate sooner. With the school week only being 4 days long I’ve been able to keep my job and work weekends, as well as get work credits which has projected me further than at any other schools. If I have been missing or need help I can come on Fridays and get the help I need. Overall this school has helped me reach academic freedom and pushed me to do better in everything I do and not feel pressured in a bad way. On campus I feel safe and secure.

In my opinion Estrella high school is really good and fun. We always have some type of activity going on. The kids here are really cool and nice. There is a fair share of kids who mind themselves as teenagers do. The classrooms are great. The teachers are very interactive with the kids and are always willing to help at all times. All the classes are my favorite. The teachers are really nice and they teach the materials in a way that helps me understand,which I did not get at my old school. I was able to add a class to help me graduate on time. The principal Ms. Powell is very cooperative with job times and is always talking with the kids getting to know them.

My experience at this school is great. This school is friendly to everyone. Everyone gets along is just so kind and thoughtful, and nobody feels left out. The community is amazing our principal Ms. Powell and vice principal Ms. Pendelton is friendly. You could literally talk to them about anything, they are friends to everyone. The classrooms are great, they are sometimes fun, we learn in funways, and everyone just talks to each other like if you knew each other for a while. Estrella high school is just an amazing school to go to even if it's a small school, I used to not like going to school or being in school, but now I like going to school. It's a fun place to be and is a place to make friends. Even being friends with the staff. The staff is nice to you and they like being able to talk to all of us students. Estrella is a place to learn in fun and interesting ways.

My son and daughter both attend estrella and since they have been attending their grades have improved they are happier being in a smaller school with caring teachers.

My daughter is enrolled at Estrella High School. She has been apart of this school for 3 years. She attended a public school prior to going to Estrella. I have seen a tremendous change in her work ethic and overall attitude towards school. She is excited to learn, and the leadership not only from the teachers but the administration is fantastic. As a parent I love the fact that this school provides a family atmosphere. The school leader, the assistant principal, and the front office staff are very easy to work with. They have always been very kind. Any concern I've every have, are addressed immediately. One huge standout from this school versus the previous school is that the school leader knows all her students and that speaks highly of her and I know my daughter has value there, she's not just another number. If you're looking for a school Estrella is one of the best.
