    New administration working so hard to make Walnut Creek an exemplary school.

    This school needs the love. I base this judgement on talks with my aunt who has taught at Walnut Creek for years.

    Not a good school. Is economicly in trouble and isnt a safe enviroment for students. I recommend not attending your child to this school

    I have concerns about the size of the 5th grade classes this year. WCE have only four 5th grade classes. Each class averages 30 students in each. This makes for crowded, noisy classrooms and limited quality instruction. Behavior problems in some 5th grade classes, disrupt the learning process but the administration is not proactive about handling or helping the teachers solve the problems. They (the administration) put the responsibility off on the teachers who are already have the burden of large classes and little resources.
