In July of 2019, we were registered at St. Matt’s for a total of 10 days (TEN DAYS!) and the, “Head of School”, Page, kept ALL of our money (registration/supply fees ~$435-$500). We expected her to keep the registration fee but were a bit shocked she kept the “supply fee” since our child did not use any supplies... Even after contacting her directly it was just money in the bank for them. This school has zero diversity and be prepared to compete for status. They used to post family names with how much they’d donated each year. It’s disturbing.

St. Matthew's is an amazing school! Our son started in the twos program and is currently in pre-k he loves going to school learning and playing everyday. The teachers and staff are wonderful and caring. We couldn't be happier with our experiences here.

Our family feels extremely blessed to have found such a phenomenal preschool for our son. St. Matthew's curriculum, teachers and staff are amazing! Our three year old son is always excited to go to school and looks forward to spending the day learning and playing with his friends. We highly recommend St. Matthew's for a loving and nurturing learning environment.

Coasting on its reputation but sadly not the same place it was a few years back. Huge teacher turnover in the short time between my oldest child's graduation and my current child's enrollment. Building appears to have not been well maintained.

This school is an amazing place where my two children have thrived under the nurturing care of teachers and administrators alike. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in providing their children with a solid foundation of spiritual and educational development. I look forward to sending our third child when they of age.

We have two children at St. Matthew's and we absolutely love it! It is a safe and nurturing environment and the curriculum is incredible. My children love their teachers and can't wait to get to school every day.

We love this school! My daughter loves her class and teachers, and has the best time playing and learning. It's a wonderful preschool environment and we look forward to many years there!

I have found St Matthews Episcopal Day School to be the most loving, encouraging and nurturing place for my children. Between two children this is our 5th year at the school and we have loved our experience there. The teachers and curriculum are excellent and it has a wonderful family atmosphere. The parent body is very involved making it one of the top schools in Austin.

We are very pleased with St Matthews. Our child is so excited to go to school. He is learning a lot. The teachers are great. There are many ways parents can get involved. If education is important, this school is worth the money. Financial aid is available.

Our child is in his second year at St. Matthew's and we are extremely pleased. The school's teachers are extremely strong, and the school has a great balance between age-appropriate learning and unstructured play time. The school draws students from across the Austin area and has a diverse range of parents including both those who work in the home and outside the home. With respect to the cost of the school, financial aid is available and the school has several fund-raisers with proceeds devoted specifically to financial aid so that the school can be accessible to all families.

Be cautious, St. Matthew's head of school biggest concern is about money. One will find that their fee is the most expensive in town. The school does listen nor care about existing parents who are there. The teachers are the only positive thing about this school.
