- Submitted by parent on October 02, 2024I am a co-teacher/mom at Austin Classical and fall more in love with the school and community each day. The classical curriculum is not only engaging and challenging but has shown me that this is how children are meant to learn (especially after experiencing a public school education). The community is one of love and support, each family is there for a deeper purpose and that shines in the relationships that are built not only in the children, but in the adults as well. “For Christ and His glory” goes much beyond a motto and is truly the cornerstone and mission of ACS. We are so thankful to be a part of this beautiful school and community!
- Submitted by parent on September 16, 2024We have been at Austin Classical School for several years and have had a very positive experience. We have a student in the school of grammar and a student in the school of logic. Both the classical and collaborative components to schooling were new for us, but the school has done a wonderful job of preparing parents to be co-teachers. The academic rigger is high and the culture is very warm with a lot of touch points for families to get to know each other. My kids feel known and cared for deeply by the faculty. We have especially enjoyed starting school sports and enjoy ACS theater performances and school spirit events.
- Submitted by parent on November 03, 2022Our family has truly been blessed by being apart of ACS. This is our eighth year participating in a classical, Christian, collaborative model. ACS has intentionally worked towards cultivating wise, virtuous, and humble students in a very meaningful way.The collaborative model has allowed for strong sibling and family bonds. The teachers beautifully weave the Gospel throughout the curriculum both at school and throughout our home school lesson plans. Our time at home allows for a slower pace and rich conversations.The intentional guidance the school has provided, paired with our ability to pour into our own children, has given our structure to me as a co-teacher and has also allows for the flexibility needed to help each of my children individually. I know that my children are receiving a Christ centered education that will equip them in every aspect of their lives and I've had the great privileged to be apart of that journey in this partnership.
