Rosary High School is a fantastic high school dedicated to empowering young women. With its first lay head of school starting in 2019, Rosary is moving in a positive direction where other schools seem to falter. They have updated their science labs, curriculum, programs, added lacrosse, and continue to focus on what's best for young women. Every single graduate leaves there ready for college; a critical thinker; and a self-advocate. If you are looking for dedicated attention to your daughter's individual needs, teachers who push students to do their best work, and the instillment of confidence, then Rosary is a good fit.

Of all the treasures we can have in life, one is worth more than almost any other. There’s a priceless beauty in the faith-filled heart of a daughter. I’m grateful to the Dominican Sisters and the faculty of Rosary for helping to impart in my daughter the wisdom to stay true to God’s voice, to walk in God’s presence and to take her knowledge and talents to be used as a powerful good in the world. I know that God will bless Rosary students as they celebrate the past and welcome the future. He will guide them with hope as they embark upon paths known and unknown, comfortable and challenging. Making your daughter’s education at Rosary a priority will benefit her and you for the rest of your lives.

The past year at Rosary, under new leadership, the school has gone in a negative direction and sadly we can no longer recommend it.

Our daughter is a sophomore and we couldn't be happier with Rosary. We are confident she will be well prepared for college both academically and characterwise.

Rosary is an excellent college Prep school in a faith filled safe environment. The teachers and administration are committed to giving the students a balanced and rigorous Education while also emphasizing the importance of service and integrity.

Rosary is an excellent College Prep school. My Daughter is a Senior and has received a huge amount of assistance in finding the correct college for her and the Counselors and staff spend a lot of time helping parents find good, solid financial aid. I am a single parent who sacrifices to send my daughter here. Also, we are NOT Catholic and that has never been an issue. Tuition covers everything but sports and there is a flexible payment plan. I am glad I sent my daughter here.

Rosary High School has been an incredible experience for me. Not only have I been provided the opportunity to grow academically, I have developed into a better, more confident, and intelligent woman. Rosary's all girls atmosphere provides the students a safe place to be educated. The teachers truly care about you, and make you comfortable with coming to them for any help that is needed. Rosary has a phenomenal sense of community, and the sisterhood is incredibly strong. The classes are engaging, and fit to the students. There are a wide variety of college and AP credit classes offered, which I have taken advantage of. The high quality of classes makes Rosary the college prep that it is. Rosary gives the students the opportunity to pursue subjects they love, there are many sports, extracurricular activities, and academic clubs that are available. Rosary is a very special place and the faculty and staff make it the best it can be. It will always hold a special place in my heart because it has shaped me into the well informed, strong, and independent woman and leader that I am.

Rosary High School is an above average educational institution for young women. They provide their students with the educational tools needed to succeed in college and beyond. In addition, the teachers go above and beyond to reach out to their students who may be struggling with their studies. Rosary High School's educational standards and religious beliefs have positively affected the lives of many successful women.

Rosary High School helped me to grow into a confident young woman, and gave me the skills I needed to succeed in my college years. The Dominican pillars are truly present throughout all aspects of the school. The faculty and staff truly care about the girls attending, and push them to do their best.

Rosary is a fantastic place for girls to prepare for college and life beyond. This tight knit community offers girls the skills and opportunities they need to grow into women. Rosary has an exemplary education program that lays a great foundation for higher education. As a college student, I can attest to how Rosary shapes their students to be a cut above the rest. Its not just about the academics though, Rosary High School is a family. Even after graduating, visiting is like going back home. Trust me, you'll miss the uniforms and the announcements and the pop quizzes and the smell of bosco sticks. Going to Rosary was the best decision of my life so far. It shaped me into the person I am and I owe so much to that school and the faculty and all that it stands for.

My daughter is about to complete her freshman year. Rosary is definately a great college prep school! She is developing good study habits. Coming from a public school she really appreciates a great learning environment.

Rosary is unique in that it is all girls college prep, Catholic school. It does a fine job of challenging these young girls on becoming outstanding women in academics, and all extracurricular activities! My daughter is a freshman, and has had to work harder than she ever has before, but I believe is learning a lot about life, and how hard work pays off! High school is different today, and Rosary is preparing our young women for success!

Rosary High School provides friendship, faith and fantastic learning opportunities! The education my daughter received, as well as the opportunities for community service and extracurricular activities prepared her tremendously for her college search. With her Rosary education in her portfolio, my daughter earned admission to each college she applied to, including Northwestern University, Augustana College and the Honors College of the University of Illinois at Chicago. In fact, Rosary prepared her so well that she was awarded UIC's President's Award Program Honors Scholarship, a full four year tuition, room and board offer ! Rosary High School gave my daughter a first class education and allowed her to grow and thrive and become a well rounded student, young woman and citizen of the world with a brought and fantastic future!

I now know what they said at orientations was spot on. I have one daughter who has graduated from Rosary, and one that is a Junior. They have both "found their voice" as a young woman and can articulate what they believe in and speak up for themselves. We need our kids to be able to do this as they will shape our world moving forward

Rosary. Wow. What an amazing school. I honestly can't believe how much I love it. I wasn't sure about it at first, after all, it's a small, Catholic, college-prep high school for girls. But after my first week as a "new girl", my classmates welcomed me with open arms and many of them became my good friends. Thank you, Rosary, for giving me the chance to go to a school where I could be myself.

The atmosphere and supportive presence among these girls is nothing short of AMAZING! These young women are encouraged to be strong in the classroom, share their opinions and be future leaders of the world. They are faith filled women that take pride in their philanthropy projects and giving back to the community. Rosary is A+ place to educate your daughter!

I am a freshman who attends Rosary High School, I chose to go to this school because of the better academics and the warm, family environment. So far I have been pleased by my choice. The work is challenging, but reasonable for a college prep school. The teachers are all ways ready to help and everyone is ready to help you through any struggle. I also am in Rosary's sports programs. Which are, hands down, the best sports program I've seen. The coaches are ready to work on every skill and build you into a stronger athlete. Rosary overall is a fun, free, inspiring environment to help you grow into a better person.

Rosary has made a huge impact on my daughter. This school, one that, admittedly, is rather small, has a teacher staff the has a huge heart. My daughter has struggled in many subjects, however, after talking to her teachers about what she's having trouble understanding, her grades have improved immensely. Rosary is a fantastic school with a great atmosphere that I would recommend immediately to any parent with a daughter.

This school is supposed to be about sisterhood and community. This school so so desperate for their money they will do anything. They try and make it seem like they are such a great school there is so much drama and nothing ever gets resolved. They say teachers are looking for the students best interest but I can tell you they aren't. Half the teachers don't teach you anything, if your kid is smart then send there here because that's all they care about. The teachers shove their view on government down your child's throat. All Rosary cares about money and there "social status" . It would nice to see the administration start to be a little bit more proactive , but all they do is send your child with bitter remarks. They hand out detentions like its candy. I would not recommend Rosary High School. Give the 5000 dollars to a school that needs it and not to a school whos tuition is almost 10000 a year and all they do is take your money because everything at Rosary has a charge even your detentions.
