Basicly this is kinda mid. It has some good stuff like teachers teaching. But I don't feel like everybody works together at this school and is generaly "good". The food is pretty good but the LINES for it are TERRIBLE. If you end up at the back the line you get 5 mins to eat out of your 10, so you spend a lot of time in line that kinda sucks. ALSO clubs are pretty good for the school and overall improve it. Sadly its not FREE and and neighborhood around the school is VERY sketcky making for unsafe walking home. PLUS the students don't really care about school that much and their grades, explaining just why students are failing their tests for this school. People are constantly swearing and doing other goofy behavier like SEXUAL HARRASMENT in the HALLWAYS. (And bathrooms.) On top of that People are SMOKING and CONSTANTLY LITTERLY AND SELLING DRUGS IN THE SCHOOL. ITS TRASH.

I went to this school and overall I loved Cascade Middle school. I would recommend this middle school to everyone. It is very diverse and has a program for special needs students. We would often get guest speakers at the school and I liked it a lot.

My child attended the honors program and the communication from the teacher was excellent. He actually was interested in some of the topics and brought home new knowledge. His other teachers also communicated well via email. It would be great if they had more and better technology, current dictionaries and books they could keep. They do pretty good for a public school with not much money.

The school over all is a good school. If you plan on enrolling your child in their Honor's program.... DON'T!!! The teachers do not contact the parents and are unorganized with their program. Unless it is an urgent need, the principle attends to matters when it is convenient and not in a timely fashion. Other programs seem to be fine, but be very weary of actually being contacted by the school.
