DO NOT INROLL IN THIS SCHOOL!!! Some teachers take their job seriously and actually teach while others do not even teach and you have to go up to them after every assignment “to get help” yet sometimes that never helps. People fail a lot due to lack of some teachers and education. Bullying and teasing they do nothing about it! You can bully and tease over and over again and they don’t care and it let it happen. I have seen it with my own eyes. When kids there joke around and many more there’s consequences to it but when bully and teasing occurs no consequences. They have no money to spare and is a poor school for they can’t afford the art teacher with supplies have to buy them her self with her own money. Science teachers have to pay for there most of there labs for they don’t get a decent budget and it’s horrible how these students don’t get get labs and art projects. The cleanliness is dirty and disgusting the bathrooms are falling apart and there have been rats and mice in the gym. The lab has stains all over the sinks and lab room in general and the hall way always smells. The racism and homophobia is still a thing in the school and they do nothing about they just let it happen over and over again when it needs to be stopped. Auburn High School drains students mental health. All in all don’t not enroll in this school and choose somewhere else.

Auburn High School is the worst school i’ve ever attended. i used to go here and only went here for my freshman year and it was actually so mentally draining. they really don’t care about anybody in there other than the staff. any time i would complain about something it would always be their word against mine and nothing i would say mattered. the only thing they actually cared about were the fighting. they don’t care how your teachers act, or who your teachers are. i used to have a spanish teacher who didn’t have any degrees in teaching at all, but they still paid him for being a “teacher” but he only really felt like a supervisor. i used to have another teacher who would get so angry she would throw things and whatever she wanted. at one point she actually left the school and didn’t return for a couple days. she never got fired, she got moved to the junior high school with kids that are way worse than the high school kids she had to deal with. they’re so dirty too, there were literal bugs, cockroaches, rats, etc. anything that was disgusting and could have diseases is in that school.

Class of '23 student here.The good: The teachers and faculty. A ton of the staff here don't need to deal with what they're given. Seriously, they were great! A good fraction were absolutely involved, and even if the others weren't they were at least good at their job. The bad: Almost everything else. Security's very poor, there's extreme drug problems and a majority of the current enrollment has multiple problems with no discipline to return, and it shows. Multiple fights happened last year before I graduated, there were a bunch of creeps taking pictures of students, both in my grade and lower, and the higher-ups didn't do anything; no confiscation, no office report, nothing. I've felt unsafe in the halls for multiple reasons. Not only is safety poor, but a great amount of the students are "vocal." I've heard multiple younger students make fun of trans or otherwise LGBTQ+ students, a ton of students are getting repeatedly singled out from a group (and still are I've heard), and I wouldn't be surprised if some were racist even. Speaking of, mental health at the school was poor thanks to what I've listed. Some friends have considered harming themselves thanks to all of it.This school's great when the enrollment is, but as of 2023 I've heard horrible things. I wouldn't recommend going here at all with the current classes.

I would not recommend this school to anybody. as a freshman at this school i have almost exclusively had bad experiences here. For the most part the administration does not care about you or your problems, they just either tell you to deal with it or that there is nothing they can do. the teachers aren’t much better, offering little 1 on 1 help and not adjusting their teaching techniques to fit the environment. the only high level class is AP history, which nobody takes because why would you, and nobody likes the teacher either. No wonder this school is below state average. the kids here aren’t much better. a lot of bullying and teasing occurs with nobody stopping it. when i say nobody i mean it too, kids will literally tease and push around other kids in front of teachers or administration with zero consequences. you might get a “stop” or “quit messing around”, but that’s it. at auburn high school, nobody cares about your mental health, not even the counselors! seriously, with the increase in teenage mental health problems, you would think they would do something, anything about it, but no. our school has no money as well, but whatever money they do have ends up going into the football team. example, last year they spent thousands on a jumbotron screen to go on the football field. there is no reason we need a jumbotron. and yet our bathrooms are literally falling apart, our teachers complain about not having the necessary equipment, and our food might as well be made out of literal plastic. Our band room from what i heard is also a complete disaster. I’m not in band, but from what i can tell all the instruments look like they are from the 1950s and completely falling apart. our bussing situation is awful as well, mostly because the middle and high schools are connected. every one of the busses is 3 to a seat that should only be holding 2. i get there are no bus drivers and all, but i still had to mention it. overall, i’m just mad at the administration here because they really could be doing so much better, and yet they decide to put more money into football than our entire years lunch. thank you for reading this.

I would not recommend this school for any child. The administration does not listen to the students or parents concerns on bullying or harassment, instead offers options for that student on how to deal with it. In this day across the country schools stand together in anti-bullying policies, especially with the mental health concerns on the rise. As far as education, the lack of classes offered and teachers available is shameful.
