The Davis Academy has been an incredible part of our family's journey, instilling strong values and a deep connection to the Jewish faith in our daughters. We raised three strong-minded girls who graduated from this remarkable school, and we couldn't be more grateful for the profound impact it has had on their lives. The Davis Academy nurtures not only academic excellence but also the importance of community, tradition, and identity. The school's commitment to fostering these principles has helped shape our daughters into confident, compassionate, and thoughtful individuals who carry their Jewish values proudly into the world. We are forever thankful to The Davis Academy for the lasting foundation it has provided for our family.

Bullying is terrible. Kids are all terrible. I left in the middle of the year. About 10 kids left around the same time because of how horrible Davis academy is. Academics are fine, but it is not worth it because of the insane amount of bullying there is.I would not repeat My time at Davis for a million dollars.

I went to this school kindergarten through 6th grade. I loved it. when sixth grade hit there was covid. I started doing it online because you only have 3 hors of school instead of 8. when my gc stopped working I bought a new MacBook, my school email ended up being the problem. the assistant principle didn't believe me and my parents so he said, "you need to send her to boarding school!" my parent were telling him how they are not going to send their only child to boarding school. his reaction was, "well i went to boarding school and I turned out just fine." he has always been the worst btw. the reason why I would recommend it now is because 1.5 years after that... he is now fired. (also you get 5 hours work of hw every night)

What a gem! We love this school! Our twin boys have attended The Davis Academy since kindergarten. It was the perfect fit for our family. We searched for a warm and loving environment with a strong academic program. The quality of the academic programs here are second to none especially when placed up against its local competitors. The fine arts and sports programs are equally as incredible. This school is rooted in tradition, fostering a sense of community, morals and values. We have never been disappointed. Our boys graduate next year and we will miss everyone at the school.

Both my kids (6th grade, 3rd grade) have been at Davis since kindergarten and we've been very pleased. Not only are they receiving an excellent education, but they are also developing a lifelong love for learning and becoming critical thinkers. The teachers create a warm, welcoming environment where children learn the connection between mindsets and outcomes.

What was once a great unique school, has crumbled into a conformed mess. I was a student at this school from 1994-2001. At this time the school was known for its academic rigor, challenging subjects, exceptional teaching, and first class special needs program. While the academics have fallen slightly, nothing has dwindled like the teaching. This is due to the administration's arbitrary decisions to fire teachers, even the best ones without much known cause seemingly solely based on who the administration like. The morality of this school has certainly come under scrutiny of late due to their decision to cut the special needs program in order to obtain a "better image". All of these changes have come since the introduction of the new head of school and principal in 2008. It is difficult to fathom why the new administration feels the need to ruin what was a high caliber and and high morality institution with these boneheaded decisions but I know that this was not the Davis Academy I attended. Think long and hard before sending your child to a school where consistency is non existent, even for the most effective and appreciated teachers.
