Robust curriculum that allows for multiple pathways for student success. This school has the most electives and opportunities for students than any other school in Bradford County. Focus on all students and college and career readiness. Intense focus on the whole student and their social/emotional/ and mental health. Many supports are available for students from all backgrounds.

These schools are the worst in the state of PA. They do not care about the students unless they are from wealthy families. They push the lower income students out and do not take the time to help them. They rush to make judgments on the students instead of getting to know them and their families.

This school is focused on numbers and not the students. They push the students through instead of actually educating them. Their sole purpose is for sports, not education. If they spent more on the education factor and reducing the class sizes this might actually be a good school. Please don't get me wrong, there are some great teachers here, but they can not do the work they need to because they are overwhelmed with students that they can not give each student the amount of time they need to excel. The people in charge are the worse. they spend more time on trying to raise taxes to spend on sports then on the education of these kids. It's a disgrace!

My kids have gone thought the middle, junior, and senior high. The schools are great. Teachers and administration are attentive to student needs and abilities. Every kid can participate in sports or extracurricular activities. If there is any negative it is the school spirit is lacking in many students. It would be great to see more kids participating. There are activities for everyone from sports to music to drama to academic groups. There is no reason to not have every kid involved with some sort of activity. Love the opportunities here at Athens. My kids definitively took advantage of what was available and had a great experience.
