Terrible school. No communication with parents, no homework makes it difficult for parent to help child when child is struggling and don't understand work because we have no clue what they are even learning in school. As an educator of children you would think when child is not understanding there school work that they would at least try and help them and teach them. Not at this school they would rather just publicly humiliate the kid the kid in front of other students for not completing work. Not completing a paper in class my child was told he won't be able to attend class Christmas party even though I had previous agreement with teacher that work that he didn't get completed in school would get sent home so we could make sure he completes it. This paper never got sent home and he came home crying because he didn't understand it didn't get it done and wasn't going to be able to attend classroom Christmas party! Absolutely disturbing to me how they single kids out and publicly humiliate them in front of other students and don't even have the decency to communicate with parents child being in trouble or even what's going on with their child for that matter! This school has a D in buncombe county and it don't even deserve that honestly! Do yourself a favor and enroll kid in different school if you had a chance.

My child has loved all of his teacher. This school makes learning a great experience!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. My son went here and a female student in his kindergarten class was being physically and emotional abused by another student. Despite complaints from numerous parents about this disruptive child, he wasn't removed from the classroom and caused behavioral problems for my child because he was allowed to have that kind of behavior. Don't let your children go to this school if you can get them in somewhere else.

HORRIBLE SCHOOL! Serious lack of common sense with faculty at this school. No communication with parents. The principle and assistant principle are both below par. Do yourself and your children a favor and find a decent school.
