I am the parent of 7th & 8th grade students. We moved to the area recently from California. In my experience, the staff, teachers and other students are awesome. Both kids are loving the school and say it much better than California. Both kids are mixed race (white/pacific islander) and have no issues. We do not appear wealthy. Well off for the area but we don't do the designer clothes attitude. Both kids have made friends from a wide range of economic backgrounds. The school is clean, well supplied and supported by the parents. The principal is very friendly, outgoing and can be seen around the campus walking daily. My kids have told me that they find most of the work "easy". I like to think my kids are fairly smart and quick learners.I saw another review that said almost the complete opposite of what I reviewed. I would just like to say that definitely has not been our experience. One parent posted on the facebook group that their child was feeling uncomfortable and was making no friends at school. Several parents stepped in without being asked. Several days later that same parent reposted that several kids had approached her child to say hi and make friends the day after her post. This parent was amazed that other parents and their kids would step up to make friends. Everyone's experience is different and sometimes it is what you make it.

Awful. The material is to hard for your average students. The teachers do not care if you have trouble and do not do a good job of explaining the work. The students are very rude and look down on you if you are different. They only like you if you have tons of money and wear designer clothes. All of Plainview is awful.
