Archer Elementary is doing great work! The teachers have been phenomenal. The academic progress my daughter has made has been amazing. Libby Hartwell, the principal, is doing an AMAZING job. This has been a wonderful school in every way. I can't say enough good things about this school. My daughter loves it and is upset if she misses even an instant of class. The supporting staff, the teachers, and the administration are all wonderful people.

Excellent. We have a big family and have many children at the school, for many years now. From Head Start (pre-k) all the way to 3rd grade (ours have not yet reached 4th/5th grade). I also went to the school myself as a child, as did a few other family members. It has changed over the years, and it usually given a bad wrap for being a low income school, but the faculty and staff do an amazing job making us more than just "a low income school." We are a school first and foremost. We just happen to have some really amazing low-income programs (free lunch for the entire school, Title 1 program, etc.) for our low-income community. Much of our town is low-income. They really meet the needs of their community and I have been nothing but happy with Archer Elementary. Any issues I have ever had were person or situation specific, never with the school policies or with the leaders (principal, etc.). I've always felt my voice was heard whenever I felt the need to voice my opinions.

Very community oriented school. All teachers and staff know every student and their family.

I love this school, this is our first year here and hope to return every year after! Cory is an amazing principal, always present at school events helping out and getting dirty with the kids when needed! I've enjoyed volunteering here, everyone is always polite and smiling! If I had to give negative feedback it would have to be the overly relaxed attitude when it comes to picking up or checking out your child. I feel they should check IDs more, but given that it's a small town school, everybody knows everybody. Overall, I would recommend Archer Elementary!!

Archer elementary is a school that promotes communication among teachers, students, and parents. The principal is welcoming and very friendly. The classrooms are up to date with the latest technology and everyone I have come in contact with has been very helpful and friendly. The nurse is also awesome!

i have 4 children and have had the worst time with this school. they constantly want to have parent meetings to tell you that your child is doing bad and needs to be held back you agree that they need to be held back but they somehow keep passing them each year only to do the same thing the next....there are no security cameras at this school, the teaachers don't stand out with the children that get there on time to the cafeteria, but the cafeteria workers won't open till their ready and thats at the back of the school. they don't do nothing about the parents speeding through the parking lot ect....it's went down hill in the past 3 yrs my kids have been there. maybe the new principal will help, maybe not...
