The school is good. A couple things that have happened and i dont agree with. But for the most part a good school. Went to this school myself. Now that my kids go here. I wish i could say good things about the after school program but i have nothing nice to say other then its nice to have so i can work. Other then that they dont do homework with the kids as should be. Since my kids have been in the after school program they havent been doing as well as they usually do. I think its time to give up my income and take my kids out of the after school program. Until i see things being ran the way it should be.

2013-2014 was our first year there. I had 2 students in elementary grades. I think the school and staff are fine. The principal is very proactive, the teachers care and make a great effort. The school and its students are close knit, with only 500+ students in a K-8 campus. The negatives to me are horrible parental involvement mostly, and that the district doesn't appear to support the school as much. No gymnasium, no pool at the high school. I feel if there is any problem, it is at the students homes. There are a small group of great, involved, proactive parents, but they are in the minority. Overall, the school is fine, it just needs more parental support.

I Love this school ..Hamilton has the best kindergarten teacher..we Love Mr.Davies and the other staff as well..my son had the best teachers in every grade he is in. They are there for him and are amazing we feel close to the staff like family..our principle is the best..we have the funnest fundraisers for the students and school she had improved our teaching and student does as well as attendance for the school overall.she knows each and everyone personally by name she goes out and interacts with the families.as a patent she makes me feel like my kids are at home while at school!

The test scores say it all. When moved to area my sons test scores where above average only went down every year he went to the school. My daughter started K and went thru part of 3rd. It was a nightmare from day one. We left the school in the middle of last year with her test scores below and far below average. Within a few months at her new school she has raised to high basic and prov. by the end of 3rd grade.I won't even bother with my neg. opinion on the district school and staff because I have proven fact in the test scores that they fail there students year after year.

The elementary school could be improved. From what I have observed, the teachers care and are doing what they know best. However, I have not been impressed with overall handling of discipline, classroom time, and montinoring student progress. This is especially true at the kindergarten level. Without many other options in our area, it makes it difficult to stand back and let just anything happen to our children, so we are hoping we can make suggestions that will be implemented or taken seriously.

The classroom numbers are way too high!!! It should not be accepted. To say that it is due to budget cuts is unacceptable because other schools in the state do not have these numbers. It must be how the district is allocating its money:( Change needs to happen. Parents should not be OK with this and think this is just how it is.

I really liked the last Principal as well. Let's see if the Community can keep this next new Principal.
