FGR has really allowed our son to thrive. He has good friends and plenty of opportunities to engage in extra curricular activities. The academics are solid. It's been worth every dollar in tuition.

Deciding to attend Father Gabriel Richard High School was the best decision I have ever made. I came into this school as someone who wanted to grow their faith and learn at an academically challenging institution and this school fit both of those requirements and went beyond my expectations. I am now a baptized and confirmed Catholic and I have become an incredibly spiritual person. The teachers are truly out of this world and most could teach at the university level. They care so much for their students and are very involved in clubs/ committees for the school. Their sports are very good with many of our sports being CHSL champions for many years in a row. There is a noticeable Catholic dedication at this school as we were always given many opportunities to receive the sacraments as students and every class integrated the faith into the education plan. I have met some of my best friends for life at FGR because the community is so rich in character and virtue. FGR is a forever home!

Could not be happier with our choice to send our D to FGR. It feels like the best kept secret in our area. Academics are very rigorous but supportive. Teachers and staff create a warm family environment at the HS. Sports and spirit are wonderful as well. Having older children in other schools we wish we had known about FGR sooner! This school offers an unparallelled educational experience and truly prepares them for college. Having other HS experiences with our children we see the true value of FGR!

From my experience, FGR has worked hard to provide an excellent Catholic education for my four children. No school is perfect, but I find the teachers and administration to be receptive to concerns and work to find ways to improve a situation. The Academic Support Center has some exceptional paraeducators who have supported my son with the challenges he faces with his ADHD. I have found a great community for my kids and my family at FGR and I am grateful!

Although our daughter is the first in our family to attend Father Gabriel Richard High School, we have felt completely welcome since day 1. This was a big decision for our family, and we spoke with multiple FGR families about their experiences. Every single person with whom we spoke loved their time at FGR, and we now see why.I am reminded on a regular basis that we made the right school choice for our daughter. Academics, athletics, spirituality, community - all are solid at this school and have helped our daughter truly become part of something bigger than herself. It feels like an extended family for both her and us; we heartily recommend Gabriel Richard!

My daughter is in sophomore. She is very happy in FGR and has been great in every aspect. The academic is wonderful and rigorous. She also has been enjoying its art programs as well. Above all, she has matured religiously and become a person who cares about others. Although my family is from South Korea, we never had problems as internationals. FGR is just a great school. My husband and I are so happy with our decision.

We are currently in our twelfth and final year with a student at FGR. The educational foundation is solid, and does an excellent job preparing students for college or whatever they do next. They truly help to shape these young men and women to become good citizens and positive contributors in our society. The Catholic environment is positive and nurturing, and helps students (and their families) understand why traditional Catholic social teaching is valuable and necessary to engage the modern world. Finally, we have come to appreciate that FGR is a strong community that includes parents and families too, not just the students. There is a strong partnership between faculty, administration, students, and parents. We hope to continue to be involved after our last child graduates next year.

This is my child's first year at FGR as a Junior. She is finally enjoying learning in an intimate setting where teachers are keen on how students are learning. The staff has been welcoming, supportive, and responsive to her transition needs. I would highly recommend an FGR high school experience for a student who is overwhelmed or not getting supported in a large, comprehensive high school.

This is our first year at FGR and my daughter loves it. We came for 2 main reasons. Firstly, for the Catholic world view. (No woke indoctrination) and secondly, for the excellent Academic Student Center and the great teachers supporting my teen with ADHD and math challenges. This is her 4th school and we are so happy that we switched.

I have had 3 children so far go through Father Gabriel Richard and it has been a great experience and school. It is a very faithful Catholic School that does a great job of bringing students to Jesus and the Sacraments. It is academically sound and there is a club or sport for everyone to participate in. The staff and faculty are very personable and exemplify an authentic Catholic Faith.

We have several children and have allowed each one to pick his//her high school, based on academic and athletic opportunities. Some of our children have chosen public schools, others private, and finally some diocesan schools. Our child at FGR is truly the happiest of any of our kids when it comes to loving their school. FGR offers many athletic, social, and academic avenues! Our child also enjoys the religious aspect at FGR…. The leadership at FGR is superb and very “ dialed in” on our world’s current dilemmas and issues!

My daughter graduated FGR in May 2023 and is in her first year of college. She just received her mid-semester grades and was very pleased to earn straight A's. Her time at FGR prepared her well for the rigors of college academics. While at FGR she played a varsity sport for all 4 years and participated in several clubs. She formed close friendships that will be with her for the rest of her life. My son is currently a junior and is taking a mix of honors and AP classes. He has strong friendships and is involved in sports and extracurricular clubs. Both of my kids are on the quieter side but have fit in well and the teachers have provided outstanding support, through offering extra office hours and learning opportunities. This school has been a huge blessing in our lives!

My children have all had great experiences at FGR. They have encountered and built relationships with many wonderful teachers and students. The academics are rigorous, but teachers care about student success (they want the kids to learn) and go above and beyond to help is a student asks. The structure and discipline provided helps students to develop self-discipline. And access to Mass, confession, and other faith-based activities is amazing!

I have two kids at FGR and have been very pleased with this school. The teachers are dedicated and truly have a joy and passion for the subjects that they teach. My kids are happy to get up go to schoo. They love their classes, teachers, and friends and most of all they love the environment at FGR because it is very welcoming and safe. Although our family is Catholic , my kids have come from the public schools and both love FGR over the public school environment they came from. My greatest joy is seeing the joy that my kids have from going to Father Gabriel Richard. This school is truly a blessing and a wonderful place for teenagers to learn and grow.

As a parent of 3 students who graduated from FGR, I give the school 5 stars. While there are many things I can talk about, I'll limit it to 3 main points. !) The school is unapologetically Catholic and forms the students in the faith despite resistance from the culture. 2) The school is competitive in academics...chooses literature wisely and forms the students in the western tradition and also has great sports and arts...the coaches and teachers see athletics and the arts as an extension of the mission of the school. 3) FGR teachers and faculty do an outstanding job of loving each student...from the very gifted to the struggling. I have been so impressed at how many teachers truly know and love my children. All of my children had excellent experiences at FGR!

My wife and I debated long and hard about our son's high school selection. We thank God we chose FGR! He has flourished there in every way over the subsequent years - academically, spiritually, athletically, and socially. The teachers at FGR are "on a mission" and they love the students and their subjects. Our son has taken a long list of honors and AP courses that have prepared him well for college. The authentic Catholic character of the school is apparent everywhere. It is active, joyful, serious, intentional, intellectual, and hopeful. It animates the people, classes, and programs of the school well beyond the Masses, sacraments, retreats, and theology classes. Our son is a multi-sport athlete who found the friendship, coaching, and challenge he sought. It has been pointed out that, at FGR, students actually play a huge range of sports while at other, bigger schools, most of them just watch their peers. Finally, the "secret sauce" for which I am eternally grateful is the fantastic friendships my son has made. What an incredible group of young people! Our family has explored a range of alternatives, but I am thrilled to say all of our younger children will find a home at FGR.
