Both of our kids been going to Nohl Canyon and we really love all the teachers, staff and principal (Mr. Jones)! Teachers at NC are top notch and our kids thrive there. Even through Covid lockdown, they were so good and our kids didn't miss anything. Parents are very involved. Having GATE program in that school helps if your kids get into GATE, so you don't have to move your kids to different school. Overall, we can't be happier. Go Roadrunners!

We love this school. I felt my kids were in a caring, nurturing, and academic environment. The school is old and it shows, but it is well maintained. The teachers are organized and are true veterans of the profession. There are many ways to be involved at the school through the Parent association. The hard working association truly keeps this school functioning in the modern world with donations of computers, monitors for teaching, stipends for teacher supplies, equipment, facility upgrades and playground equipment. My kids loved this school from K-6.

Great method of parent/teacher communication. There are many chances for parents to participate in helping with class activities.

My child attends this school since kindergarten. She is now in 5th grade and enjoying her daily activities at school. As parent we monitor her progress and making sure that she completes every assignment for the next day. However, the teachers (not all of them) at this school have tendency to forgot or missed to enter the grade in their grading system and the result left is "missing assignment" on the child record. This problem occurred every time last two quarters. I've brought this matter to the Principal attention and have not heard a word from her. I also suggested a solution to avoid this repeated problem. Hope they can fix this problem soon.
